Romans 8:31-32
Insecurity is defined as lack of confidence or assurance; self-doubt; uncertainty; anxiety; danger.
God doesn’t want us to be insecure. Insecurity is tied very closely to our self-image. We find ourselves wondering if anyone loves us. We compare ourselves to others to see how we measure up. We may even question whether God loves us. God loves us with a perfect love. He sees all our weaknesses, flaws, and struggles and still loves completely. We can’t earn this love. God gives it to us freely, holding nothing back. Because God loves us with such immense love, we can draw near to Him without fear and without hesitation. Our past sins do not define us. They are not our identity. God has dealt with our sins in three very specific, very powerful ways: (1) God washed us. (2) God sanctified us and (3) God justified us. God highly values His creation and lovingly cares for it. Not even a tiny sparrow dies apart from Him. He causes the flowers to bloom, giving them rain and sunshine. He numbers the grains of sand and calls the stars out by name. There is not a single square inch of creation that falls outside of His
I come by this morning to let you know we all were chosen, adopted and accepted by God. This destroys every bit of insecurity. God will give us everything we need. He gave up His only begotten Son that we may be free and have eternal life. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
Insecurity is something I've dealt with for many years and I'm so grateful to have read this particular post... God is so good!!!
ReplyDeleteI also have dealt with insecurity in my life. I believe everything happens for a reason and there was a reason I needed to see this devotional today! I’m blessed to serve a loving accepting God!!

ReplyDeleteInsecurity a form of fear that the Devil likes to use to cripple people. But God I ask now in Jesus name that you will give us perfect love that casts out all fear. Amen..
