1 Peter 3:3-4
Self-worth is defined as the sense of one's own value or worth as a person; self-esteem; self-respect;
We are created Masterpieces in God’s eyes. The enemy likes to lay huge guilt trips on us: we’re not good enough, smart enough, successful enough and that we are only posing as such when the total opposite is true. Our value is not based on our physical appearance, but on God's love and sacrifice for us. We must focus on the inner beauty that God develops in us, rather than the outward appearance seen by man or woman. God made us, and all His works are wonderful. God affirms us by loving us unconditionally. God does not focus on our earthy bodies, which are temporal and quickly wither and fade, but on our souls, which are eternal. Fear of failure, lack of confidence, and procrastination are all by-products of low self-worth that can keep us from accomplishing God's will in our lives. Father God help us to be servants like our King Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve. Help us to find our self-worth in him, as we pray in His name, amen.
I come by this morning to remind someone that the best source of self-worth is to serve God by serving others. Jesus said, “The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Be bless and I love you!!! JE
Love it
