“Just Another Day The Lord Has Kept Us”

Joshua 14:10

Kept is defined as preserved; retained; observed; stored; saved; withheld; maintained.

We should be grateful to God. Paul was a prisoner for only one reason, and that was preaching the truth about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a Roman citizen, Paul had the right to appeal his case to Caesar, and in the Apostle was forced to take this legal step. Paul's appeal seemed necessary to escape the murderous intentions of the Christ-rejecting Jewish rulers in Jerusalem. But Paul's appeal to Caesar also seems to be God's way of getting Paul to Rome. And I say that because the Lord had already promised Paul he would get to witness for Christ in Rome. Paul had been arrested by the Romans in after the Jews stirred up a vicious riot against him. Then two nights later in the Lord stood by him and said, 'Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.

I come by this morning to let you know that God has kept us another day. Since God has given us another day we should be grateful to God, be servant-hearted, strongly trust in our Savior and give God all the glory. Be a blessing to others and bless them mostly by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Be bless and I love you!!! JE We
