“Stop Settling, God Has Made A Way For Us To Prosper”

Jeremiah 29:11

Settling is defined as calm; relieve; quiet; still; come to rest; soothe.

The main reason we aren’t receiving God’s best is because we are willing to settle for less. Very few are committed to God’s best. We have been influenced more by the world than by God’s Word and “dumbed down” to accept far less than what God has provided. As long as you can live with less than God’s best, you will. Things don’t get better without effort. We have to seek to find, knock to get the door opened, and ask before we receive. We must raise our sights and aim higher. Most people are shooting at nothing and hitting it every time. When the Lord spoke to Jeremiah, Israel was devastated. The city of Jerusalem had been destroyed, and many people had been taken captive to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar. Thoughts of peace were probably the last thing on their minds. Jeremiah 29:12-13 says; “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” We must choose to trust God. We have to seek with ALL our hearts. That’s the missing element. We have to reach a point where we won’t live with anything less than God’s best. Stop settling! God’s promise is for us to prosper and be in good health.

I come by this morning to let you know we will no longer settle. God has given us the power to move forward in His mighty and powerful name. We have to be willing to stand and fight the fight of faith, or we will be overcome by this world. If we don’t stir ourself up, we will settle to the bottom. The world isn’t going to encourage us toward God’s best, and most Christians aren’t either. Don’t settle, get everything God promise you. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
