“Can You Relate?”

James 1:19-20

Relate is defined as to bring into or establish association, connection, or relation; reveal; confess; acknowledge.

Relating to people generally or to family members specifically can be both wonderful and difficult; joyful and impossible. Can you relate? Relationship can be the most beautiful and powerful things and they can also be the most painful things. A lot of damage has been done to people’s walk with Christ because relationships are not functioning in the design in which God intended. There is strength in our relationships when Christ-like love is shown. God created us for relationships. Can you relate? Families are not what they us to be. Our fall into sin fracture our relationships with God and with one another. People are lovers of themselves and tend to want what they want regardless of how it make affect others. Love covers a multitude of sin. If you lack compassion, you’re too focused on yourself and not enough on others’ needs. Jesus saw the multitude and felt compassion because He saw that they were like sheep without a shepherd. The disciples saw the same multitude and didn’t feel compassion because they were focused on their own need to get away and rest. It all depends on your focus.

I come by tonight to ask you a serious question, can you relate? We cannot fulfill God's call on our life without being in a relationship with Him and other people. We must repent of the damage we have caused in our relationships. and pursue reconciliation with others. I can relate because I understand the importance of relating to others and relationships are what God design is to have. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Your Presence Lord Is A Gift”

Psalms 51:10-11

Presence is defined as attendance or company; existence; appearance; occupancy; omnipresence.

God's presence is felt and His power seen when we are receptive to His love for His children. This love is divine, pure, unconditional, and peaceful. God takes care of His children constantly with His power and strength. Understanding and actually feeling God's presence help adjust bad circumstances. We can depend on God's power and love to replace discord with harmony, neutralize hatred with peace, and eliminate criticism with joy. By our trust in God and His power, trying circumstances of everyday life can be shaped anew with the qualities of kindness, fearlessness, joy, peace, and harmony. Getting closer to God enables us to feel His presence and witness His power. We invite His presence and power when we pray. Presence is a gift that cannot be opened now or later, it must simply be received and enjoyed in the time and space in which it is offered. By just being, presence offers comfort to the tender and hurting places. But presence is more than a gift of quiet comfort. It also provides a window into knowing others more deeply through the non-verbal language of body movements, gestures, cues, the things unsaid that can only be understood in the midst of presence. We know God through His word, by building a relationship through prayer and worship, and by the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit in us. These are the ways we hear His voice, heed His instruction, and experience the fullness of joy. He knew we could never make it on our own; He knew that we would need help and guidance and comfort through all of life’s circumstances.

I come by this afternoon to let you know the Lord’s presence is a gift. There will be times when words and actions are appropriate, but there will also be times where mere presence will perfectly meet a need. Let’s be willing to sit in those moments where fixing is not an option, or even appropriate. Let us be the ones that show up and lean in, even when it is uncomfortable or hard. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“God Never Stop Working For Our Good”

Romans 8:28-30

Good is defined as morally excellent; virtuous; righteous; pleasant; fine; marvelous; great; acceptable.

Jesus is our Savior, we can trust that He will work for our good in ALL situations that is causing us heartache, pain and trouble. He loves us. We are His children. God the Father has a purpose for our life. Good things happen to those who trust God. The umbrella of God’s providence does not extend to cover the evil and hard-hearted. But for those who seek Him and His will, in all things God works. We need people with the resolve of Mordecai and the courage of Esther. The world is in desperate need of a people of God who will stay steady in the chaos. Steadfast and unmovable people of God. Regardless of what is going on around us, regardless of how family and people treat us, we will stay in the will of God. We will continue to pray for them, love on them and God will work on them. Stay in position and “DO NOT” come down off that wall to entertain the ways of the world. You have too much to do for the kingdom of God to be distracted by the devil and his umps. The battle is not yours but it is the Lord’s. He got it!

I come by this morning to remind you that, God works all things together for our good if we love Christ. Not just some things, not just most things, but ALL things are used by Him for our ultimate good and His final glory, which is the highest good of all. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Captivity”

Deuteronomy 30:3

Captivity is defined as the state or period of being held, imprisoned, enslaved, or confined.

The four seasons of the year bring changes in temperature, weather and the length of daylight. Yet, some regions don’t experience all seasons. Many times we change our environment looking for the ultimate place to settle down and reestablish ourselves and yet still find restlessness. The Lord says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a good future.” God told His people that they would go into Babylonian captivity because of their disobedience and rebellion. Yet, while in captivity they were to still seek the peace of the city, build houses, plant gardens and build families. It would be in this place that God had planted them that they would begin again to seek Him, pray to Him, and it would be from there that they would find Him. People have longed for freedom from captivity and oppression, and today they still long to be free from captivity, spiritual bondage, and oppression. We need to pray to destroy reinforced captivity in our lives. Lord, have mercy on us and release us from every reinforced captivity. Father God, hold every reinforced captivity captive for our sake in Jesus mighty and powerful name. Amen!!! And it is so!!!

I come by this late evening to let you the bible says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He uses the spirit of captivity to steal you. When we become Christians and turn our lives over to Jesus, He sets us free from the power of a "Nebuchadnezzar" or captivity spirit so we can rebuild our lives as the temples of the living God. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“The Spirit Of Laziness”

Proverbs 6:9-11

Laziness is defined as slow-moving; sluggish; unwillingness to work; sloth.

All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. Whoever is lazy regarding his work is also a brother to the master of destruction. The word tells us in Proverbs 10:4  that, “A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.” God knows that we need rest to be able to live our lives the right way, and He wants to give that rest to us. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Laziness may reflect a lack of self-esteem, a lack of positive recognition by others, a lack of discipline stemming from low self-confidence or a lack of interest in the activity or belief in its efficacy. Laziness may manifest as procrastination or vacillation. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. Paul says our faith is like running a race. He doesn’t say it’s like sitting in a meadow on a sunny day having a picnic. Our participation and consistent effort are required. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder, and perfecter of our faith.

I come by this evening to let you know, when we allow laziness to dominate our decisions and motivations, we only end up serving a false god, and not the true King of Glory. Laziness is sinful and not pleasing to God. Paul tells us, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Be Grateful In All Things”Happy Thanksgiving!!!

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Grateful is defined as to warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received; thankful; pleasing; nice.

When we grow in the knowledge of God and our focus is on Him, we can give thanks in all things. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever. We can give thanks in all things because thanksgiving is a response to the goodness and grace of God. God’s nature does not change based on outward circumstances. It’s difficult to be thankful when we are: Not trusting fully in God’s faithfulness, proud or arrogant, anxious, discontented, focus only on the negative, jealous or envious of others and holding on to anger or bitterness. Thankfulness is one of the ways to measure your spiritual health. It’s an indicator of how much we know God. It can reveal how much we are trusting in Him. In this world, it’s easy to take things for granted. We need to remember to give thanks in every circumstance. When we give thanks, it aligns us with God’s goodness, opens us up to receive more from Him, and frees us from anxiety and worry. Today and everyday I’m thankful for God, who is the head of my life. I’m thankful God gave me the opportunity to see another day. I’m thankful for life, health and strength. I’m thankful for my husband, Vincent Sr. and my son, Vincent II. I’m thankful for my entire family. I’m thankful for my GO Ministry and my GO Ministry family. I’m thankful for everyone connected to us. I’m thankful for my friends and I’m even thankful for my enemies because they let me know I’m doing right in the sight of the Lord. I’m thankful for our horses and dogs. I’m thankful for the Ponderosa. I’m thankful for everything in Jesus mighty and powerful name. Amen!!! And it so!!!

I come by this morning to say what are you thankful for today? We should be thankful not just today but everyday because God has given us another chance to get it right. We don’t always know how life will go. But we always know what God’s will for us is: It’s to give thanks in light of His goodness. Happy Thanksgiving!!! Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Don’t Compromise Who You Are Just To Fit In”

Deuteronomy 5:32

Compromise is defined as to settle; agree; negotiate; adjust; find happy medium.

God does not condone compromising His commands. King Jehoshaphat foolishly entered a compromising situation with the wicked King Ahab, and it almost cost him his life. You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.” There are certain lines that should not be crossed and there are times when compromise becomes evil. We can compromise on preferences but not on principles. To avoid spiritual compromise, God’s people need strong leaders who do not compromise the truth, who pray selflessly and who exercise necessary spiritual discipline. God’s glory should drive our prayers, especially when we’re concerned about His people who have fallen into sin or compromise with the world. Strong leaders pray that God’s people will be established. Moses’ prayer was after God told him what the people had done, but before he went down and saw it for himself. After he saw how bad things really were, he went back up the mountain to see if he could make atonement for their sin. He then prayed. Alas, this people has committed a great sin, and they have made a god of gold for themselves. But now, if You will, forgive their sin and if not, please blot me out from Your book which You have written.

I come by this morning to let you know we must be about our Father’s business and stop compromising to the ways of world. All this pretending to be about God’s business is over with. Turn from your selfish wicked ways now or suffer the consequences. Warning!!!  They will not go unpunished in this season. Exposure is here! Get it right now before it’s too late. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“No More Bondage, We Are Free To Praise Him”

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Bondage is defined as slavery or involuntary servitude; yoke; enslavement; chains.

Because of what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross for us, everyone who puts their faith in Him has a completely revitalized relationship with God. The cross represented what Jesus Christ accomplished completely for healing us through His death on the cross; (1) Propitiation, which means that God’s holy wrath against sin is fully satisfied by Jesus’ death on the cross. God is no longer angry at your sin. (2) Reconciliation, your relationship with God is restored, no longer broken. (3) Redemption, we were purchased out of bondage to sin and released into freedom to serve God. One thief who was crucified recognized that he was like a sheep who had gone astray and turned to his own way. His inner light was rekindled in the presence of “the true Light, which lighteth every man.” He did not join in the mocking. Instead he appealed to the Good Shepherd, seizing upon the tenuous hope that he might be saved: “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” The Savior graciously answered and gave him hope. This criminal likely did not understand that the gospel would be preached to him in the spirit world or that he would be given an opportunity to live according to God in the spirit. Truly the Savior cared for the thief who hung beside Him; surely He cares greatly for those who love Him and strive to keep His commandments. Did you know that every human being born on this planet is born into bondage? I don’t care where you live or how much money and status you have. You were born into bondage. Bondage to what? Colossians 1:13 says you were in bondage to “the kingdom of darkness.” In John 8:34, Jesus Himself said, “everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” We were born in bondage to sin.

I come by this evening to let you know, God is a burden bearer and He will bring you out of bondage into a place of peace. The moment we trusted in Christ as our Savior, we were set free from being a slave to sin in our life and now we are free to praise Him. Christ’s blood set us free. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Heart Transplant”

Ezekiel 36:26

Heart Transplant is defined as an operation to replace a damaged or failing heart with a healthy heart.

God is like a surgeon. He will perform a heart transplant for anyone who needs it. When our lives causes us to be tainted with the things of the world. God will provide a supernatural heart transplant and give us another chance to live an abundant life through Jesus Christ. A “heart of stone” cannot be transformed into a heart of flesh by human means. Every human effort at spiritual regeneration will fail. We can make various resolutions; have the power of positive thinking; training programs; and books. It will still be more difficult to find motivation to live a Christian life. Only the Holy Spirit can do it. When God gives us a new heart, His spirit gives us a renewed mind, enlightens our understanding, corrects judgement and refines our wants and will. God is ready to give us a new heart and spirit. Are we ready to receive it?

I come by tonight to let you know you can not have a new heart and a old heart at the same time. We have to choose to give up your old sinful ways to receive a new heart from the Lord. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Your Silent Season Is Over”

Psalms 46:10

Silent is defined as making no sound; quiet; still; speechless; mute.

We all go through times where it doesn't feel like we're making progress. We're praying, but our prayers aren't being answered. We're being our best, but not getting good breaks. The problem hasn't turned around. Seems like God went on vacation. But the silence is not a sign that God is not working. He may not be changing the circumstances, but He is changing us. God uses the seasons of silence to get us prepared. In the time of silence we feel overlooked, undervalued, forgotten. These times of isolation, where we’re not being celebrated, are extremely valuable. Nothing may be changing on the outside, but something's happening on the inside. Our character is being developed. We’re learning to not depend on people. As a teenager, David was anointed to be king. God spoke it through the prophet Samuel, but David didn't go straight to the throne, God hid him. He went back to the shepherd's fields and kept doing the same thing that he had been doing, taking care of his father's sheep. He spent years out there by himself. Alone, in obscurity, it was boring. His brothers were in the military. They had a prestigious position. They were being celebrated.

I come by this morning to let you know, God does His greatest work in isolation, when nobody is noticing you. When God is silent, that doesn't mean He’s not concerned. Silence is not a sign that God has forgotten about you, just the opposite. It's a sign that He’s closely watching you. He's getting you prepared for new levels. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“God’s Delays Are By His Design Not Our Own”

2 Peter 3:9

Delays is defined as to put off to a later time; defer; postpone. Design is defined as to prepare the preliminary sketch or the plans for a work to be executed; layout; arrangement.

Waiting is especially difficult in light of the shortness of life. The older you get, the quicker life seems to fly by. Because life is so short, it’s difficult when the Lord makes us wait. Paul must have struggled as he remained in custody in Caesarea. God uses His delays to teach us to trust Him more fully and to submit more thoroughly to His lordship over our lives. God uses His delays to teach us to trust Him more fully and to submit more thoroughly to His lordship over our lives. Thank But now I go to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. For Macedonia and Achaia are pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem. For they were pleased to do this, and indeed they are indebted to the Jerusalem saints. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are obligated also to minister to them in material things. Therefore after I have completed this and have safely delivered this bounty to them, I will set out for Spain by way of you, and I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of Christ’s blessing. That was a godly agenda, but it was not God’s agenda, at least not in the way Paul envisioned it. He would eventually get to Rome, but not as quickly as he had hoped. Maybe he went on to Spain; we don’t know for sure. But while Paul sat in prison in Caesarea, he had to submit his agenda to God and trust God to work out His agenda in His time. There is nothing wrong with godly desires and hopes for the future.

I come by tonight to let you know God’s delay are by His deigns not our own. After all the planning and goal-setting are done, we have to bow and say, Lord, not my will, but Your will be done with my life. I trust in Your agenda for me. When God delays, we must trust Him by doing right, even if we do not reach our goals. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Blessed And Unbothered”

Philippians 4:4-9

Unbothered is defined as not experiencing mental or physical discomfort; carefree; unconcerned; calm; secure.

It might feel overwhelming on some days, but it is possible to still choose joy, remain calm and be at peace even when it seems like everyone around us seem to be losing. God is ever present and faithful to give us the peace we need to be unbothered. In the midst of great chaos and lack of faith, Christ demonstrates the ability to be unbothered or unfazed by the disarray within His disciples. And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

I come by tonight to let you know we will no longer allow the enemy to keep us from what God has for us. We choose to be blessed and unbothered by everything in this world that is not of God. I pray that we will be able to stand on God’s word and remain unbothered. Unbothered meaning that even though it hurts, we keep going; even though it sucks we keep pressing, even though it is depressing we can still find joy in the Lord. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Walking Upright In The Ways Of The Lord”

Psalms 84:11

Upright is defined as adhering to rectitude; righteous, honest, or just; straightforward; pure.

The word walking is used in the bible to describe our manner of life or our habitual conduct in life. The psalmist spoke of some who walk uprightly. The psalmist was not speaking of these people posture, but rather of their character. In this sense of the word we do need to be taught how to walk. We are told, O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. We need instructions from God to know how to conduct our lives. Enoch walked with God and so did Noah. Walking with God suggests fellowship and closeness to God. We, too, can walk with God in this sense of the word, but to do so, we must walk in the manner that God instructs, uprightly, not in the way of evil. In Genesis 13:17, God spoke to Abraham and told him, Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.

I come by this morning to let you know God is upright and we are told in scripture that He has pleasure in uprightness. Although man and woman has become twisted from God’s original upright position, God has not given up on us. We must be dedicated to walking upright in the ways of the Lord, daily. The upright will dwell with God and will delight themselves in abundance of peace. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“You Are Worthy To Be Used By God”

Colossians 1:12

Worthy is defined as having adequate or great merit, character, or value; honorable; respectable; trustworthy.

To walk worthy, one must first understand and appreciate the great price God paid to redeem us. To God, our worth is beyond the wealth this world contains. Our redemption cost God His greatest treasure in heaven. The price He paid is indicative of how He sees us, with great value. The world may not attach much value to us. However, when we know our worth in God’s eyes, we will see ourselves differently. It will be reflected in how we live our life. Paul didn’t identify with being a prisoner of Rome. He saw himself as a prisoner of the Lord. He was locked in God’s kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy. Paul walked worthy of the Lord by knowing whose prisoner he really was. His joy was made full because it wasn’t based on external things but on the spiritual reality of who He was in Christ. God doesn’t value us based on our works. He does not determine our worth by what we do or don’t do. He does so according to our trust in what Jesus accomplished for us. He made us worthy.

I come by this morning to let you know we must know our worth. The Lord loved us through our worst times, our humiliations, and failures. Jesus loved us greater than we could ever love ourselves. He accepted us just as we were, flawed and broken, and loved us despite and because of it. You are worthy enough to be used by God. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Living To Please God Not People”

1 Thessalonians 2:4

Please is defined as delight; make happy; satisfy; amuse; overjoy.

God did not make us to be what somebody else wants us to be. God didn’t make us to be what our parents want us to be, what our spouse wants us to be, what our brother or sister wants us to be, what our boyfriend or girlfriend wants us to be or what our boss or our friends wants us to be. God made you to be you. If we’re going to become all you can be, you have to refuse to be defined by others. We must focus on pleasing God not the people. Moses had an identity crisis. He was born a Hebrew slave but raised as Egyptian royalty, the grandson of Pharaoh. When he grew up, he faced two options: He could pretend to be Pharaoh’s grandson for the rest of his life and live a life of luxury and fame and power. Or he could admit who he really was: a Jew. If Moses admitted who he really was, his family would kick him out to live with slaves the rest of his life. He would be disgraced and humiliated and live a life of pain and drudgery. Hebrews 11:24 says, “By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.” Moses chose to please God not the people. Most people today are living lies. They’re trying to be people they’re not. Choose today who are you going try to please?

I come by this morning to let you know, pleasing God is better than trying to please people. Allow God to determine your identity not people. Real success is being who God created you to be and nothing else. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Jesus Is The Answer To Your Anxiety”

1 Peter 5:7

Anxiety is defined as distress or uneasiness of mind caused by fear of danger or misfortune; worry; tension; doubt; misery.

Prayer is the key to escaping the snare of anxiety. When Jesus was teaching His disciples about fear, worry, and anxiety, He taught four key principles. These principles reveal how a wrong response to fear, worry, and anxiety can hinder our spiritual walk, and why we must take our anxiety seriously as a follower of Christ. Even though Jesus was full of compassion, His primary goal was not simply to eliminate the physical discomfort that anxiety bring into our life. He taught us that our emotions reflect what is going on in our hearts, values, and thinking. If we are going to take our faith seriously, we need to listen to the clues that anxiety brings our way. Jesus talked about anxiety often because He didn’t want us to lose sight of what was most important in life. Our anxiety reveals what we value. Jesus taught us that what we value will become what we prioritize. If we value the world’s priorities more than we value God’s priorities, we will naturally be anxious about the things of the world.

I come by this morning to let you know God calls us to overcome anxiety by keeping our focus on what will last eternally, faithfulness, trusting God with all our trails and focus on serving others. Be blessed and I love your!!! JE

“Lord, Help Us With Our Unbelief”

Hebrews 11:6

Unbelief is defined as lack of religious belief; an absence of faith; rejection; doubt.

Either we are going to believe God or we are going to believe the devil. Choose today! It is the word of God that is going to keep us rooted and grounded, and able to grow in God. In order to grow, God said that, like babes, we must have the desire for the  sincere milk of the word of God, so we may grow. But then we have to come on and get to maturity, because He says that meat is for them that are of full age. It is time to grow up! We cannot stay a baby forever. We have to get to the place where we are full grown in the things of God. That is where we really start seeing the power, the glory and the manifestation of the word. In Mark 6:3-6 it said, “Is not this the Carpenter, the Son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not His sisters here with us? And they were offended at Him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in His own country, and among His own kin, and in His own house. And He could there do no mighty work, save that He laid His hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages, teaching.” There is power in the word of God.

I come by this morning to assure you God is real. The word says, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask or think, but here is the hook, according to the power that works on the inside of us. When we get some power working on the inside of us, we can tell the doctor I am going to hold up on that surgery. When we get some faith working, we can tell the folks, “Just give me a few more days; God is going to come through. Glory!!! We believe in You Jesus and You have showed us over and over again. Father God help the people with their unbelief immediately. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Living A Worry-free Life Through Christ Jesus”

Philippians 4:6-7

Worry-free is defined as carefree; untroubled; peaceful; without problems; undisturbed.

We must take comfort in realizing God already sees what we need before we ask. No matter how unstable the world becomes God got us. Worry is lack of trust, concern is trusting over a burden. Worry is self-centered, concern is God-centered. Worry is buried by a burden, concern is bearing a burden. Worry rips, tears apart, and distracts your attention from God, concern unites, builds and draws your attention to God. Worry is sin, concern is an expression of sober faith. Worry says God is unable, untrustworthy and unconcerned. When you worry, you’re saying, “God, I just don’t think I can trust You.” Worry slanders God’s character. Jesus says don’t worry, when God is your Father, He will give you what you need. Only when you trust God as the giver of needs can you live a worry-free future. If you own something in your heart and fear you’ll lose it, then you’ll worry. But if God owns it and you merely manage it for Him, then you can be worry-free, because the One who can provide all you need and is in control of everything.

I come this evening to let you know we should live a worry-free life through Jesus Christ. He is the Author and Finisher of ALL things. The word tells us, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” You can be worry-free by depending upon the eternal God who is already there. Be blessed and is love you!!! JE

“Entangled In What Use To Be”

1 Peter 2:15-16

Entangled is defined as involved; mixed up; confused; compromised.

We must not be entangled with the cares of this world. Have you ever seen a bug caught in a spider’s web? The more that bug struggles to become free, the more entangled in the web it becomes. When a person is trapped by his or her sin, and comes to their senses and recognizes the need to change, they cannot escape by their own strength. They just become more tangled. We can all be free from bondage by admitting our sin to God and giving Him control of our life through Jesus Christ. Only He can untangle us from the tangled web of sin that we weave. Your past circumstances can’t be changed, but you can change. The consequences of past choices can be used for the glory of God when you ask Him to transform your mind and heart. In fact, your difficult past might be the very tool God uses to help you encourage others not to walk your painful journey. Jesus told the demon-possessed man, restored to his right mind by the Savior, to tell people what God had done for him. God wants to use the story of your painful past and your redeemed life for His glory.

I come by this evening to let you know it’s time to let go of your entanglement of your past and move forward in Christ. God’s forgiveness changes everything. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Don’t Lose Your Way”

Philippians 1:6

Lose is defined as to come to be without; be defeated; misplace; forget; give up; rob; sacrifice; be careless; fall short.

Our choice is the choice which impacts whether or not we experience blessings. Our choices today and tomorrow have the power to help us rediscover who we were created to be. When God confronts Adam and Eve about their actions in the Garden of Eden, they both play the blame game. Adam blames God and Eve: the woman You gave me made me do it. Eve blames the devil: the serpent deceived me and I ate. However, if we are ever going to find our true selves again, we must take responsibility for our part in losing ourselves in the first place. We must take responsibility for the choices we have made, and decide to make better ones in the future. God expects us to choose better, choose wiser, choose smarter, choose life, and choose righteousness. But when the choices we have already made have created circumstances that cannot be resolved or improved by making better choices for the future, do not worry. God will step in to provide, cover and heal us. God can make rivers flow in the desert and open up a way where there is no way.

I come by this morning to let you know a life of reward and blessing does not happen by chance, but happens by choice. Don’t lose your way getting lost in the ways of the world. Follow Christ. As of today we must choose; to put God first in our life, to forgive and move on, choose to go “all in” with our faith and trust in God, choose integrity and accountability, choose to be faithful to our spouse, choose to be attentive to our children, choose to be a good steward of our resources, choose to walk away from what we know is wrong for our life and choose to hear the voice of God and to follow Him in all things. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“God Is Holding You Accountable For Your Actions In This Season”

Galatians 5:22-26

Accountable is defined as subject to the obligation to report, explain, or justify something; responsible; answerable; liable; charged with.

The word teaches that we will be held accountable before God and that we are meant as brothers and sisters in Christ to hold each other accountable on earth for our words and actions. Being accountable means being willing to explain your actions with honesty and openness. We will one day stand before God and will be held accountable for how we lived. Pride and temptation can keep us from seeing the truth. The more knowledge you have of God’s will, the more you are accountable for doing it. What we do in the name of Christ must be done along with Christ. Without Christ we are only doing religious things for our own benefit. But with Christ present in us, we are being Christ-like people for the glory of God. Too many are getting away with drifting away. We’re not doing a good job of keeping each other accountable for actions. Through accountability we can know the difference between sowing from the flesh and sowing from the Spirit. A lot of people have just decided they’re going do whatever they want in the world, regardless and don’t want to be held accountable for anything. As soon as something goes wrong they want to be back doing God’s will, I call it pimping God. God is sick of this and in this season everyone will be held accountable. Things will be uncovered, exposed and dealt with immediately. It’s time you truly walk in the will of God and stop pretending. You might be lying to the people but God knows all and see all and it shall be brought to the light immediately.

I come by tonight to let you know we all are held accountable for what we do as an individual. Accountability is a life-time commitment. There is no stopping until the Lord calls us home. There is no retirement age in ministry. Death is the only thing that gives us permission to quit. Will you be accountable to the spirit or will you allow the world to give you a one way ticket to hell? Your choice. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Everybody Can’t Go Where God Has Destined You to Go”

Ephesians 1:11-14

Destined is defined as bound for a certain destination; ordained; intended; directed; that will be.

The greatest revelations you will ever receive is to know who to partner with in life, wrong people can destroy you, the right people can accelerate you.

We must embrace our mind blowing, God given destiny by meditating on His promises, wisdom and encouragement. Elijah and Elisha had a unique relationship. Elisha saw something in Elijah that he desired. He saw and respected the anointing upon Elijahs life. Elisha saw something in Elijah that he desired and was determined to stay in a relationship with him regardless of the cost. When Elijah told Elisha to stay in Bethel he refused. When he was told to stay in Jericho he refused again. He went with him all the way to the other side of the Jordan River. Each time Elijah told Elisha to stay somewhere Elisha responded by saying: “as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee.” Each time the sons of the Prophets told Elisha that the Lord was about to take away his master he told them to “Hold their peace.” Elisha was determined to stay connected to Elijah. When Elijah smote the Jordan River with his mantle and the waters parted, Elisha was still there. We will never receive anything from a man or woman of God unless we respect the anointing that rests upon them. We can not learn from somebody we resent, we can only learn from somebody we admire. Some people will get angry when God begins to bless you. Some people will not celebrate your victories and blessings with you. Some will even become jea-lous and begin to falsely accuse you. When this happens do not become sad and depressed but begin to rejoice and be glad. Because one of the last things that happens before a promotion comes is you will encounter an enemy.

I come by this morning to remind you, everybody can’t go where God has destined you to go. Stop trying to take people who God hasn’t called to go with you. That includes family, friends or foe. Everytime God is about to do something new in your life, whether it be receiving a new anointing, going to the next level of your destiny, or taking you into a season of prosperity; God will lead you to a place where the crowd will not be able to go. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“God Has Equipped Us For Greatness”

Ephesians 2:8-10

Equipped is defined as to provide or supply; set up;  implemented; appointed.

God often stretches us beyond what we think is possible. He calls us to tasks that seem greater than our capabilities. Moses is called to a daunting task. From a burning bush God hands him the responsibility of delivering the Israelites from Egypt, more than 2 million of them. But Moses doesn’t respond with a lot of enthusiasm. Instead, he questions God’s call on his life: “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” God patiently responds that He will be with Moses, giving him the power and grace to deliver the people. When Moses doubts his ability as a public speaker, God sends Aaron to speak on his behalf. He even allows Moses the ability to perform miracles to conquer the Israelites’ unbelief, a staff that becomes a serpent, a cloak that heals a leprous hand. Moses’s successor, Joshua, also despaired over his ability to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. Esther feared approaching the king, knowing it was a risk to her life. But through her obedience, God saved the entire nation. God has equipped us for greatness. God is able to make all grace abound to us, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, we may abound in every good work. God doesn’t call us to something only to leave us to fend for ourselves. He is with us, He provides for us and He enables us to finish the assignment.

I come by this morning to let you know that God has already equipped us for our purpose and there is not a devil in hell can change it, not now or ever.

If God has called us to the task, He will see that we carry it through. He will give us the grace and the tools needed to accomplish the assignment.

Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE
