“Worried And Upset About Many Things, Trust God”

Philippians 4:6-7

Worried is defined as concerned; anxious; bothered; fearful; distracted; upset.

Worry is always in motion, but it never gets you anywhere. So why do we struggle with it? Stop placing your trust in people or things. Place ALL your trust in God. He is the answer to every problem, every situation we may be facing. Don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Worry is the opposite of faith. It steals our peace, physically wears us out, and can even make us sick. When we worry, we torment ourselves. The only way to have victory in our lives is to play by God's rules, and He says we must quit worrying if we want to have peace. So, when things come our way that cause us to be concerned, we need God's help. But how do we get it? 1 Peter 5:6-7 says, Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. If Jesus invites us to cast all of our care and worry on Him, why do so many of us refuse to let go?

I come by this morning to let you know ALL you need is God. He is the Author and Finisher all things, the devil has no power, so stop giving it to him. May we all live as a beacon of love, breaking down walls and building bridges. And may we be filled with hope, resting in the certainty of God’s presence. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
