“Disarming The Enemy, Immediately”

Deuteronomy 28:7

Disarming is defined as removing or capable of removing hostility, suspicion; powerful; seductive; compelling. 

I don't know what battle you are facing today but I want to encourage you that there is victory in Jesus. Behold, the Lord has given us the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt us. Joshua understands. Joshua's job was to help the Israelites settle into their Promised Land. There was just one problem. The land was already occupied. Getting this land would mean war. But God was faithful in helping Joshua to conquer lands and even make allies. There was 5 kings gathered together to attack Joshua and the Israelites. They were intimidated by Joshua's success and had every intention of stopping him. Here is how Joshua responds when he found out about their plans: “So Joshua marched up from Gilgal with his entire army, including all the best fighting men. The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you.” The Lord threw them into confusion before Israel, so Joshua and the Israelites defeated them completely at Gibeon. Israel pursued them along the road going up to Beth Horon and cut them down all the way to Azekah and Makkedah.” To overcome the attack of the enemy we must do the following: (1)Respond - Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. (2) Enlist help - Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. 3) Confuse your enemy - Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

I come by this morning encouraging each of you to stay on the wall and stay in position. The enemy is busy and we must be more busier. We have been given the power and authority to defeat the enemy. I declare and decree in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus every plan of the enemy has been cancelled, voided and sent back to the very pits of hell to burn and be no more immediately. Father God expose our enemies right now so that we may confuse them and declare victory. Father God all these blessings we ask in Your Son Jesus mighty and powerful name. And it is so!!! Amen!!!
