“Jesus Is Enough”

2 Peter 1:2-3

Enough is defined as adequate for the want or need; sufficient for the purpose or to satisfy desire;  abundant; plenty.

Everything we need is found in Jesus. We successfully overcome obstacles as part of our comeback process. We go from hurting to healed, from addicted to free, from sorrow to joy, from loss to gain. Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. Jesus told the woman at the well, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Jesus is our supreme treasure. Jesus is our greatest joy. Jesus is the reward of the Gospel. Jesus satisfies our deepest needs and longings

Jesus is more than all we could ever need. Jesus is more than all we could ever want. Jesus is the source of your truest identity and greatest hope. Giving Jesus all we have is our delight and the wisest of all investments. If all else is lost, but we still have Jesus, we have everything

I come by this afternoon to let you know Jesus is enough. It it is only in Jesus that we can find the fullness of grace and truth, grace that is sufficient for the great need that we have, redemption from our lost state, forgiveness for all our sins and shortcomings, the fullness of God, righteousness to stand before the holy God and with God the Father.
