Deuteronomy 30:3
Captivity is defined as the state or period of being held, imprisoned, enslaved, or confined.
The four seasons of the year bring changes in temperature, weather and the length of daylight. Yet, some regions don’t experience all seasons. Many times we change our environment looking for the ultimate place to settle down and reestablish ourselves and yet still find restlessness. The Lord says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a good future.” God told His people that they would go into Babylonian captivity because of their disobedience and rebellion. Yet, while in captivity they were to still seek the peace of the city, build houses, plant gardens and build families. It would be in this place that God had planted them that they would begin again to seek Him, pray to Him, and it would be from there that they would find Him. People have longed for freedom from captivity and oppression, and today they still long to be free from captivity, spiritual bondage, and oppression. We need to pray to destroy reinforced captivity in our lives. Lord, have mercy on us and release us from every reinforced captivity. Father God, hold every reinforced captivity captive for our sake in Jesus mighty and powerful name. Amen!!! And it is so!!!
I come by this late evening to let you the bible says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He uses the spirit of captivity to steal you. When we become Christians and turn our lives over to Jesus, He sets us free from the power of a "Nebuchadnezzar" or captivity spirit so we can rebuild our lives as the temples of the living God. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
Amen Glory to God*He loosed the chains that had me bound*
