“God Will Refresh, Renew And Redirect You”

Isaiah 43:19

Refresh is defined as to stimulate; to make fresh again. Renew is defined as to restore or replenish; to begin or take up again. Redirect is defined as to change the direction or focus of. 

Regardless of your circumstances, your social status or how many times you’ve been knocked down we can not escape God’s care. Sarai’s mistreatment of the pregnant Hagar forced the young woman to run away. Hagar fled into the desert where she met the Angel of God. He told her to return to Sarai and give birth to Abram’s son, Ishmael, who would become the father of a nation. Hagar was amazed that the living Go’s saw her. Filled with hope, Hagar returned and gave birth to her son. Hagar and Ishmael were sent onto the desert with a meager supply of food and water. When the water ran out, Hagar sat apart from her son so as to not  witness his death. Again, the Angel of God appeared to reassure her of God’s plan and to reveal to her a well of drinking water. Refreshed, renewed a d redirected, Hagar raised her son alone. Ishmael grew to be a strong, powerful man and founder of the Arab nations. 

I come by this morning to let you know we must be constantly renewing, refreshing, and redirecting our soul and spirit in the things of God. We need to renew our minds, first by rejecting the lies of the world and then by accepting and living our lives by the truths found in God’s word. And the Holy Spirit is the only One who will direct us to God’s truth. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
