“Reflections of 2021”

Ephesians 4:22-24

Reflections is defined as view; a serious thought occurring in consideration or meditation; attention.

Reflections of what was, but knowing with God what is. Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Jesus was talking unto the Father (He was in prayer) and the transfiguration was all about Jesus’ disciples seeing and learning that they could behold the light of God also. The connection between the face and worship is more than coincidental. Our face is the most public part of our bodies; it’s covered less than any other area. It’s the most recognizable part of our bodies. When we look at a school annual with photos we don’t look at people’s feet but rather we look at the photos of faces. When thinking of someone, our memory always will return to that person’s face. When we are growing and doing the work of Christ we reflect His glory. As we reflect back on the year of 2021 we all should be eternal grateful because today is the 365th day of 2021 and we made it. Thank You Lord for life, health and strength. It’s time we obey the will of God and walk in the light He has so provided to use. The promises of God are here for us to enjoy and live in the land of milk and honey we just have to get that individual relationship with Him. Trust in His every word and turn from our wicked ways immediately. When we truly worship we begin to find God’s will. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great. When we ‘desire’ the Holy Spirit we will have the ability to do God’s will. Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.

I come by this afternoon to remind you to take a minute to look back at ALL the reflections of 2021. Thank God you made it, regardless of how it looks or what you’re going through you made it to day 365. It was nothing you did but ALL what God did. You are powerless without Him. Get the revelation and understand we are nothing without Him and we have nothing without Him. We don’t have the air to breath without His say so. Check yourself it’s nothing about you but ALL about Jesus. He made it ALL possible for you to exist. I reflect today and I’m grateful I’m still here. You might not like me or love me but guess what, I like and love you and I will continue to pray for you regardless what you say, think or do to me. Be bless and I love you and I mean it!!! JE

“Let God Fight Your Battle”

Deuteronomy 20:4

Fight is defined as a a battle or combat; physical encounter; courage; will to resist; attack.

We can claim victory by withdrawing from the battlefield. We do nothing in our own strength. A self-centered battle doesn’t have an eternal purpose. Engaging in battle to hang onto stuff or defend ourself doesn’t build our spiritual, inner man. Have you ever fought with a sibling, spouse, friend or co-worker because they didn’t show you enough attention? If you did, you engaged in a fleshly battle. Real spiritual battles involve taking authority over darkness to become a stronger follower of God. We wear spiritual armor so we can walk into the enemy’s camp and take back what is rightfully ours. Every time we intercede for unsaved family members and strangers, we let God fight our battles.

I come by this late night to say it’s not your battle but the Lord’s. Stay still and allow the Lord to fight for you, He knows best. We must choose victory over destruction. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“You Are More Than Your Past”

Philippians 3:13-14

Past is defined as gone by or elapsed in time; done; former; completed; over.

We throw away things that are past their usefulness. But why don’t we throw away things in our past that hinder us? People allow their past to define them. In Christ, we’re a new creation. We become our true identity in Him. Loved and forgiven, we’re no longer condemned. Allowing guilt over the past to define us leads to spiritual crippling. It’s helpful to understand the difference between guilt and conviction. Guilt over past (or present) sins weighs us down, disables us, and leads to shame. But conviction by God’s Spirit is encouraging, because it leads to repentance and freedom. God remembers our sin no more. Jesus said when we know the truth, we are set free. Our  past can’t be changed, but we can change. Even the consequences of past choices can be used for the glory of God when we ask Him to transform our mind and heart. Jesus told the demon-possessed man, restored to his right mind by the Savior, to tell people what God had done for him. God wants to use the story of your painful past and your redeemed life for His glory.

I come by today to let you know that you are more than your past. We must move forward and trust God like never before. We can’t start the next chapter of our life if we keep re-reading the last one. The Lord doesn’t want us to play a victim role or blame others. He doesn’t want us to wallow in past failures or become enslaved to bitterness and regret. He wants us to move forward and make wise, biblical decisions. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Stop Depending On People And Depend On God”

Matthew 6:19-21

Depend is defined as to rely; place trust (usually followed by on or upon); count on; confide in.

Depending on God takes surrender and consent. Depending on God is necessary in the hard times and the good times. Fully depending on God involves laying your crown down and seeking a place of humility before God. We must take our proper position and recognize who God is and that He alone creates, maintains, and upholds all things. Every word from God is true and can be trusted. We tend to put so much trust in earthly measures that we can find ourselves depending on God as a backup or last resort when something of this world has failed us. But what if we were like Abraham and never wavered in believing God? The Israelites were forced to depend on God as they fled the Egyptians. Esther depended on God to save her people. The disciples were taught to depend on God the Father through Jesus’ example living among them. As we rest in fully relying on God, wait patiently for Him to act.

I come by this late evening to let you know we must depend solely on God and not people. People will fail you but God will never fail you. His promises are for real. He will never leave you or forsake you. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Your Prayer Is Enough”

Matthew 21:22

Enough is defined as adequate for the want or need; sufficient for the purpose or to satisfy desire; plenty; sufficient; full.

God gives us strength. Prayer is a powerful weapon. Ephesians 3:16 says, “I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being.” Do we realize the power we have available to us when we take our authority in prayer? Most of us don’t realize our authority because if we did, we would be praying far more. We would be sacrificing everything else in order to pray. Instead of worrying about the increase in evil in our land, we would be on our faces before God crying out for His intervention. Prayer is the strongest link because it is the key to God’s blessing in the spirit realm. God has provided everything for us if we pray. We can have all we need. Most of us have not realized the power there is in prayer. We are not asking. All we have to do is reach out by faith and ask Him to touch our lives, our cities, and our nations. When we tap into his resources by faith and pray, miracles happen. When we exercise our authority in prayer, God answers in a powerful way. There is a strength and power in prayer. Your prayer is enough.

I come by this evening to assure you that prayer has power. Fear weakens us and gives us an unsound mind, the power of prayer gives us strength and wisdom. We can pray God’s future plan into being through our intercession. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Focus On The Positive”

Isaiah 26:3

Positive is defined as beneficial; definite; certain; confident; helpful; factual.

Our peace is linked directly to what we think. In Matthew 24:12, Jesus said this: “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” He said this would be a characteristic of the end times. Jesus was saying that the negative things going on around us, not necessarily in us, would cause the love of many to grow cold. If we take our eyes off Jesus and focus on the evil of this world and our circumstances, then, little by little, the layers of negativity harden around our hearts, and the love for God and others waxes cold. To stay positive in a negative world we must be strong and of good courage and not to be afraid or dismayed. God flows through us. If we become discouraged, we stop the flow of God’s power. God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

I come by this morning to let you know we all must focus on the positive and allow God to lead us regardless of our circumstances. We must stand on the word of God and His promises until we’re encouraged and it works. Don’t quit! Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“The Spirit Of Giving”

Acts 20:35

Giving is defined as to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation; bestowing; awarding; contributing.

If are a Giver, you have the Spirit-given capacity and desire to serve God by giving of your material resources, to further the work of God. When you’re giving to get is the wrong motive of giving. The bible states that God loves a cheerful giver and that Jesus taught it is better to give then receive. Being able to receive a gift with gratitude is a sign of a healthy, humble spirit, which is also pleasing to God. In the final hours with His disciples, Jesus sets a powerful example to serve one another by washing their feet and gives them a new commandment to focus on love. A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. The body of believers is meant to be a community, united in love, that openly blesses one another when a need arises and simply just because it can. As Christmas comes it’s important to remember the act of giving first started with God and that our own gifts are a way to honor Him and to extend His love to others.

I come by this evening to remind you the reason for this season as not receiving a gift but giving in love and expecting nothing in return. Let your hearts be pure and full of gratefulness. God gave us the first Christmas present, Jesus, and helps us to see the deep desire God has for us to become His family through Christ, sharing fellowship and faith together as we call the lost home. Be blessed and I love you all much!!! Enjoy your Christmas Eve!!! JE

“Be Stronger Than Your Excuses”

Psalms 141:4

Excuses is defined as a reason; explanation; apology; regards; plea.

We must not give in to excuses that can keep us from really living the best life God has for us. God has a way to overcome weakness and our insufficiencies. Our talent may appear inadequate, but God always equips those he calls. We have the promise of God's provision. Jeremiah felt inadequate as a public speaker. Oh no, Lord, God! Look, I don't know how to speak since I am only a youth. Then the Lord reached out His hand, touched my mouth, and told me: I have now filled your mouth with My words.” The touch was not so much to purify as it was to inspire and empower. It was symbolic of the gift of prophecy bestowed on Jeremiah. Jesus experienced this touch in a visible, yet profound way. Following his baptism, immediately coming out of the water, the heavens opened and the Spirit of God descended on him like a dove. And God spoke, "This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him.” The person who stands with God will prevail. We must be stronger than our excuses.

I come by this evening to let you know excuses are the tool of Satan, which keeps us from doing the will of God. What is your excuse for not obeying God? We must repent of all our excuses, and ask God to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit in each one of us. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Praying That A Breakthrough Will Happen Today”

Isaiah 54:17

Breakthrough is defined as an act or instance of removing or surpassing an obstruction or restriction; progress; advance; improvement.

Regardless of our circumstances today, I want each of you to know that God cares and He stands ready to help. He not only wants to give us eternal life for when we die, but He also wants to touch our life with miracles now. Our health, our marriage, our kids, our finances, our jobs and our families, He wants to impact every area of our life. God is a NOW God! Instead of just dwelling in the past or the future, He always IS. God is ready and able to meet us at the point of our need today. The apostle Paul writes that, because God is faithful, we can have full confidence in His desire to answer our prayers: “For all the promises of God in Him,  Christ Jesus are Yes, and in Him Amen. This is His answer to our cry for help today: Yes and Amen!

I come by tonight to let you know our breakthrough is on the way. It’s time for the extraordinary. The  Lord told the prophet Habakkuk, “The vision is yet for an appointed time. Though it tarries, wait for it.” God is saying this to us tonight, stay focus our time is coming. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“How Long Will The People Provoke The Lord?”

Numbers 14:11

Provoke is defined as to stir up, arouse, or call forth (feelings, desires, or activity); make angry.

What does God have to do to prove to you that he can provide and take care of you? What does God have to do to prove that you can trust Him? What does God have to do to show that obeying Him is the best way? Jesus got angry with the religious teachers and leaders of that day for using religion for their own gain and keeping people in bondage. God’s anger, or wrath, comes against the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness. So God gets angry at the wickedness in people, and He opposes that wickedness in an effort to turn them from evil, that they may find true life and freedom in Him. Even in His anger, God’s motivation is love for people; to restore the relationship that sin destroyed. God is greater than your problems.

I come by this evening to let you we must not run from God but turn and run to God. Do not provoke the Lord, get your house in order and do the will of God immediately. Repent of your sins and receive Jesus into your life as your Savior. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Our Circumstances Are Created By Our Choices”

Joshua 1:8

Created is defined as to cause to come into being; made; completed; finished; put together.

All of us have made choices in our lives that have had consequences: some good and some bad. God has given us the bible as a manual for everything we experience in life so that as we get older we gain wisdom that results in our salvation. We make choices, our choices make us. The truth is our life is defined by the choices we make. We cannot control many of our life circumstances, but we can control how we decide to respond. We can choose whether things make us bitter or better. God gave His people a choice: “If you obey me you will live and become successful and powerful.” The children of Israel would make their choice, and then their choices would make them. The same is true for you. God puts choices in front of you every day. What we do with our choices will determine the person we become.

I come by tonight to let you know what happens to you is not nearly as important as the way you choose to respond. Some people are built up through difficult situations. Other people are broken by them. For some people, a bad experience is a stumbling block. For others, it’s a stepping-stone. Remember our circumstances are created by our choices. Seek God first before you respond in ALL things. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Unbalanced”

Philippians 1:27

Unbalanced is defined as not properly balanced;  not even; unstable; irregular.

If we are to stay balanced in an unbalanced world we must recognize the tricks of the enemy and move forward in the will of the Lord. Our relationship with God can be complicated. We mess up, run away, and wander from Him. But on God’s end, the story never changes, He chases after us every time, no matter what. How can we understand the reasoning behind God’s actions and find the beauty in the imbalance? One of the most powerful ways God can show us His truth is through his people. The story of Hosea tells the story of our relationship with God, how He chases after us time after time. The story of Hosea shows us how God responds to the messes we create for ourselves. When we reject God and follow our own path, we often find ourselves in deeper trouble. God doesn’t just call us back, He buys us back. Even in our unfaithfulness and betrayal, just like Hosea buys back Gamer, our God loves us enough to pay a ransom for us. We are adopted into God’s family, forgiven of our sins, and gifted with eternal life through Him.

I come by tonight to say, the only way to be free from this world’s lures and temptations is to forsake them all together by seeking Christ above everything else in a radical way. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“I Will Press Even When Life Is A Mess”

Philippians 3:12-15

Press is defined as to act upon with steadily applied weight or force; pressure; push.

Some things we are only going to get if we press. To press means leaving the comfort zone. It’s when things are not convenient; it means when it takes everything within us to do something and it means doing it when it is uncomfortable. That’s the press. If the woman with the issue of blood had not got in the press behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment, she would not have been healed. Convenience did not heal her, because she had been conveniently sick for twelve long years, and Jesus did not come where she was. She got up and pressed her way to where He was. Even when she got there, getting to him was not convenient because there was a crowd all around Him. She had to press through just to touch His clothes and only then did she receive her healing. Everybody has something going on. Look beyond the pretty dress and the nice suit; look beyond the smile because there’s some hidden things behind some of that and we have to admit that sometimes we just don’t feel like doing a certain thing. Sometimes it takes all we can do to keep pushing forward: loss of job, divorce, family, friends, sickness and loss of a loved one can sap the very energy out of us, but we press.

I come by this evening to encourage you to keep pressing through your life mess. There is joy on the other side, don’t give up. Jesus will always bless us when we press our way, so let’s not become a victim of our circumstances. Amen!!! Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Be A Blessing To Someone Else”

James 1:17

Blessing is defined as dedication; grace; good wishes; favor.

We are blessed to be a blessing. Being a blessing to others is a selfless act. It's focusing on that person and how we can bless them. It's something we need to be intentional about. If I'm not thinking about it, I could go days without blessing someone because I'm too focused on my own situations. With courage and resolution, Esther decided to intercede for her people. Esther said, “if I perish, I perish. I cannot lose my life, in a better cause. Better to do my deed and die with them.” God blessed Abraham so that he in return become a blessing to all people on the earth. By becoming a living example of obedience to God’s will His divine laws, statutes, should be manifested in our ways of thinking, speaking, and acting. As true Christ disciples, we should not react like unbeliever Gentiles or pagan skeptics. We are commanded even to love our enemy and not revile them. How far are we willing to go, to be a blessing to someone else?

I come by tonight to let you know do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this we were called so that we may inherit a blessing. Be a blessing to someone else. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Understanding The Why”

2 Corinthians 12:10

Why is defined as for what reason, cause, or purpose?; motive; how.

We all have heard the saying; “You forgot where you came from.” The problem with that saying is we really didn’t forget where we came from; we just may not want to live there anymore. We see things a certain way until we are exposed to another way of looking at things. We here people say, “That’s the way I was raised.” We then find out there is more to life then just how we were raised. And then we begin to understand the why. True knowledge can make us grow to the point where we get tired of thinking inside the block placed upon ourselves and by others. We get to a point where we think we just can’t live life the way we are living it any more. We may have to break away from some friends or family who are bringing us down. Once again they may tell us, we forgot where we came from. But in reality we didn’t forget where we came from. We just have gotten an understanding of the why and decided to do something different with our life and we can’t live there anymore. The more we learn and are exposed to new ideas and different ways it becomes harder to stay in the same old place. Increase in knowledge and understanding so when God opens the door to where we are waiting to go, we will be ready to go through the door.

I come by this evening to let you know we must understand the strength of our faith is not based on the works we do, the strength of our faith is based on the work of Christ that was done for us. Now that we understand why we must strive to do better. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Stop Wavering And Trust God”

James 1:6-8

Wavering is defined as to sway to and fro; uncertain; changing; unstable; to pause or hold back in uncertainty or unwillingness.

In order to not waver, we need to know the God we trust and His trustworthy actions. Jesus said in Revelation 3:5 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.” Another way to say it is wishy washy, one day they believe this or that and the next they believe something else as they really have no idea what they believe. Then there are many who are just afraid to commit. Rejecting the word of the Lord is corruption. If we do not accept what God has for us, we are rejecting God. He says in Corinthians 12:4 “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. Without the power of the Holy Spirit we cannot defeat the prince of this world. If we want to continue and do as Jesus said we would do we must do as he said. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. We must not waver but trust in the Lord with all our heart.

I come by this evening to let you know God is able and He will not let you down not now or ever. Do not waver! Stand steadfast in your belief in the Lord. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Recognizing The Spirit Of Division Dwelling Among You”

Proverbs 6:16-19

Division is defined as the act or process of dividing; separation; disconnection; breaking; severance.

The lack of wisdom from above causes division. James says, “Wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and sincere.” When we are not being peaceable, gentle, and open to reason, it is obvious we are lacking wisdom. James says our conflicts are caused by our passions which are at war within us. We want and we do not have, which causes us to fight, bicker and quarrel with one another. What we really need, James says, is to humble ourselves. We must not speak evil against our brothers and sisters or judge them. Matthew 12:25 says; “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.” Yet we, who call ourselves followers of Jesus, continue to do things that encourage division.  We continue to share posts on social media that encourage division. We continue to accuse our family, friends, fellow citizens, even our fellow Christians, of being wrong, stupid, misled, or dangerous. In doing so we are disobeying the commands of our loving Savior.  But we are also encouraging and inflaming division in our communities. Jesus consistently tells His followers to behave in ways that will prevent or heal division.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

I come by this morning to serve the spirit of division notice. I declare and decree you have no power and for every word you said or saying and the things you do or doing are cancelled and sent back to the pits of hell to die and be no more, immediately. Father God shut the mouth of the enemy causing division right now and put them to shame in the public. All these blessings we ask in Your Son Jesus name. Amen!!! And it is so!!! Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“You Can’t Move From A Place If You Think You Belong”

1 John 3:1

Place is defined as a particular portion of space, whether of definite or indefinite extent; location with purpose.

We often feel that awkward pressure of wanting to fit in. We spend more time wondering rather than remembering who God already says we are. Jesus can relate. He gets it. He gets us. We don’t have to search for ourselves in anyone else but Him. We don’t have to question whether or not we fit in or this place is for us because we’re part of the most amazing family that ever existed. God calls us His children. He has given us promises with immeasurable worth, and our heavenly Dad doesn’t lie. He will do all He’s said He will do. In every endeavor, big or small, we can trust His heart for us. We never have to worry about belonging when we know where we belong. Our home, identity and purpose are in Him.

I come by tonight to let you know we should be so grateful God claimed us as His children. Thank You Lord for always pursuing us, even when we forget where we belong. Thank You for giving us the courage to move from a place we don’t belong. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Persistency”

Galatians 6:7-10

Persistency is defined as endurance; continuance; durability; perseverance; patient.

We must be persistence in pray, faith and doing good. We persistently put one foot in front of the other as we walk the path God has designed for us. Neither temptation, doubt, nor discouragement can destroy those who persist in following Christ. In Isaiah 40:31 it says, “Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Waiting for the Lord means persisting in righteousness until we receive His answer or His deliverance. Jesus told His followers that, despite how difficult things became for them, those who persisted in faith to the end would be saved. Failure to persist in our walk with Christ indicates that we were never Christ’s to start with. The opposite of that is persisting in sin. Our sinful nature loves having its own way. We are not to give in to it, knowing that “the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Persistence is part of a godly character when its objectives are godly; it is part of a worldly character when its objectives are worldly.

I come by this morning to let you know it’s not to late for persistency. Whatever your problem may be; spouse, family, job, finance, friends or health just fast and pray for God to intervene, if you need to experience a breakthrough increase in any area of your life. Remember, persistence breaks resistance. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“A Double-minded Man Is Unstable In All His Ways”

James 1:6-8

Double-minded is defined as wavering or undecided in mind; insincere; indecisive; uncertain.

We cannot be both certain and doubting. James writes of the doubting person that he is “like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.” A doubter is a double-minded person. Jesus had in mind such a person when He spoke of the one who tries to serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. A double-minded person is restless and confused in his thoughts, his actions, and his behavior. Such a person is always in conflict with himself. One torn by such inner conflict can never lean with confidence on God and His gracious promises. Those who are double-minded do not have the faith spoken of in Hebrews 11, “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

I come by tonight to let you know a double-minded person is easily swayed by doubt or uncertainty, which is the opposite of a follower of God. Dependence on God and love for Him is absolute, requiring a heart and mind and soul that is unified in its devotion and direction. This kills the spirit of double-mindedness. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“The Enemy Tried To Break You But God Said He’s Allowing It To Make You”

Genesis 50:20

Break is defined as to smash, split, or divide into parts violently; reduce to pieces or fragments. Make is defined as to create; build; form; prepare; progress.

Time and time again they meant evil against you. Joseph’s heart was rubbed raw against the rocks of disloyalty and miscarried justice. Yet time and time again God redeemed the pain. The torn robe became a royal one. The pit became a palace. The broken family grew old together. The very acts intended to destroy God’s servant turned out to strengthen him. Joseph told his brothers, you wove evil,” he was saying, “but God rewove it together for good. God, the Master Weaver. He stretches the yarn and intertwines the colors, the ragged twine with the velvet strings, the pains with the pleasures. Nothing escapes His reach. Every king, despot, weather pattern, and molecule are at His command. He passes the shuttle back and forth across the generations and as He does, a design emerges. Satan weaves; God reweaves. When we put our trust in Jesus, all of hell takes arms against us intending evil upon our life. And, yet what trumps that fear and evil is knowing that, no matter what comes, God is the Master Weaver. Do not allow the enemy tricks, plots, schemes, hidden agendas, lies, mischievous attitude, manipulation and envy moved you out of position. Stay on the wall and stay in the will of God. Pray because they do not know what they do. Throwing a rock and hiding their hands will come to an end and they will be exposed for all the world to see whose who. The devil is a liar and he has no power in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Amen!!! And it is so!!!

I come by tonight to let you know whatever evil the devil intended for you becomes good when it is in God’s hands. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. God is a forever present help in our time of trouble. It’s working out for our good. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“Inconsistency”

Matthew 23:3-5

Inconsistency is defined as lacking firmness of constitution or character; difference;

discrepancy; unlikeness; abnormality; conflict; disagreement.

Inconsistency is a habit we need to break if we want to prosper in this season. Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Christ is consistent. Christ does not change. Amen!  Now the Israelites were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying, “Cursed be anyone who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!” So none of the troops tasted food. The entire army entered the woods, and there was honey on the ground. When they went into the woods, they saw the honey oozing out; yet no one put his hand to his mouth, because they feared the oath. But Jonathan had not heard that his father had bound the people with the oath, so he reached out the end of the staff that was in his hand and dipped it into the honeycomb. He raised his hand to his mouth, and his eyes brightened. Then one of the soldiers told him, “Your father bound the army under a strict oath, saying, ‘Cursed be anyone who eats food today!’ That is why the men are faint.” Jonathan said, “My father has made trouble for the country. See how my eyes brightened when I tasted a little of this honey. How much better it would have been if the men had eaten today some of the plunder they took from their enemies. Would not the slaughter of the Philistines have been even greater?” The Israelites in distress because of their King. He told them something that will not be much help for his troops in fighting the Philistines. Instead of giving his soldiers the much needed encouragement and motivating them to victory, King Saul put them in great anguish. Unknown to him, he was in fact paralyzing them for battle. They needed food to eat in order to have energy for battle, but he was taking that away from them. That was a very foolish decision for a king to make. It was inconsistent to his leadership as their king.

I come by this evening to let you know in order to be consistent, we must be willing to admit when we are wrong. Admitting we are wrong requires humility and confession of sin. This is the only thing that will make us right with God and correct our inconsistencies. Because when we admit we are wrong, we do not blame others. We take the responsibility for our sins not to get away from it. It’s time out for inconsistency. Let’s get it right. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE

“We Are Empowered To Be Successful”

Luke 10:19-20

Empowered is defined as to give power or authority to; strength; influence.

We can trust that God will never abandon us in bad times, and that we’ll always have help and deliverance when we need it. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”. It is already done. God has blessed us from the foundation of the earth. Be fruitful. When we’re at our weakest point, we can truly appreciate how God empowers us. Through Him, we have the ability not only to withstand but to succeed. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He overcame Satan by speaking the word of God. Jesus was physically weak after fasting for forty days, yet the power of what He said was undeniable. We can effectively resist adversity by following the same example. Our own words may be inadequate, but deliberately speaking God’s word gives us access to the same authority that Jesus possessed. “Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said, ‘Look, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some of you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.

I come by tonight to let you know we no longer have to struggle with issues and be defeated by them. Instead, we can rely on an infinite source of strength. We can do all things through Christ which strengthen us. We are empowered to be successful. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE
