Jeremiah 31:1-4
Mercy is defined as compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, an enemy; compassion; pity; benevolence; blessing.
Test are test we have failed but our infinite mercy still remains. No matter how many times we have failed, God is still there loving and guiding us. If we have made a mistake and the enemy is taunting us or if we are in a pit of guilt, the Lord wants us to know that He loves us. The labels that once defined us are never permanent. We are not defined by our past. Christ came to set us free. And because of that we have hope, especially in the hard days. His word reminds us that His banner over us is love. His label is lasting. It doesn't fade away if we blow it again. It doesn't wash off over time if we're inconsistent. It shines. Just as sure as the sun rises every morning, it breathes new hope and offers a fresh start every single day. Redeemed, loved, called, restored, cherished, strong, joyful and hope-filled. God reminds us that He is greater than the problem, the obstacle, the giant, and the fear. He is a God of miracles who works on behalf of His children, even when we can’t fully see. We can trust Him. We may not understand it, but God is always faithful.
I come by this morning to let you know, no matter what we face today, God's promises stand true. In hard seasons, it may seem easier to complain about everything than to offer God praise. But there is great news, God mercies are new every morning. Set your hearts and minds on Jesus. Remember God’s promises and choose to praise Him and trust His Sovereignty. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
Amen, thank you Lord for your unfailing Love!
