“Disconnected From God”

Romans 8:38-39

Disconnected is defined as broken; confused; separated; disordered; irregular; mixed-up.

There is no place we can go to run away from God, He is always guiding us, always holding us. God may feel far, but He is always near. After Saul had ruled forty years, God removed him from office and put King David in his place, with this commendation: ‘I’ve searched the land and found this David, son of Jesse. He’s a man whose heart beats to my heart, a man who will do what I tell him. God searches for people who desire an emotional connection with him. A heart connection with God is an emotional one, where we learn to value and love the things God values and loves. David’s heart beat to God’s heart. This kind of heart connection doesn’t sound or feel forced, unpleasant or uninspiring. It was David’s motivation for obedience. He did everything God wanted him to do because he felt deeply connected with God. When we ignore these areas of our heart, we usually end up feeling uninspired and disconnected from God: (1) Unworthy – I feel inadequate and weak in certain areas of my heart. (2) Unresolved – I have unfinished business in certain areas of my heart. (3) Unforgiven – I have deep and residual guilt in certain areas of my heart.

I come by this morning to let you know when we choose to rely on someone for confidence in areas we know we need help, we build a special connection with that person. God is our confidence no matter what we face. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Standing For What Is Right, Even If You Have To Stand Alone”

2 Timothy 2:15

Right is defined as in accordance with what is good, proper, or just.

We must be strong in the Lord and put on His full armor, so that we may stand firm against the enemy. The word says in Jeremiah 22:3-6; Thus says the Lord, “Execute justice and righteousness, and rescue the one who has been robbed from the hand of his oppressor. And do no wrong; do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place. For if you will indeed obey this word, then kings will enter through the gates of this palace, sitting in David’s place on his throne, riding in chariots and on horses, even the king himself and his servants and his people. But if you will not hear and obey these words, I swear [an oath] by Myself,” says the Lord, “that this house will become a desolation.” For thus says the Lord in regard to the house of the king of Judah.”  While David was on the run from Saul, David had wrongly allied himself with the Philistine king and was about to go into battle against Saul and the forces of Israel when God intervened. David and his men were sent home from the battle. But they arrived to find their city burned with fire and their wives, children, and possessions taken captive by the Amalekites. At that point, David’s men were so embittered that they were talking about stoning him. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.” What a dramatic turnaround! David was almost down for the count. God’s promise to make him king seemed null and void. “But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.” The Lord graciously directed David to pursue the raiders and recover all of their families and goods.

I come by this late evening to let you know regardless of what is going on in the world we must stand for what is right even if we have to stand alone. To be strong in the Lord we must know our own weakness. For for apart from Jesus we can do nothing. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Excuses Don’t Get You Results”

James 4:17

Excuses is defined as to regard or judge with forgiveness or indulgence; overlook; reason; explanation.

We are so busy running around or being consumed with people or things we’re missing out on what matters most, Jesus. But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” But he said, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.” Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses and he said, “Is there not Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Behold, he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.”

I come by this evening to let you know your excuses are limiting your growth and your blessings. The word says in James 1:2-4; “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Walking In Excellency”

2 Corinthians 8:7

Excellency is defined as in perfection; quality; accomplishment; integrity; virtue; excellence.

God wants us to abound or excel in both what we are, our inward character and in what we do, behavior or good deeds. The word tells us in 1 Peter 2:9; “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” Because of who we are in Christ, because of our eternal hope and because of the enabling grace of God available to all believers in Christ, seeking to do our best and choosing what is best is part of God’s will and an evidence of genuine spiritual growth and maturity. However, there is one distinction that needs to be stressed up front. The pursuit of excellence is gratifying and healthy. The pursuit of excellence is never a matter of simply choosing between what is good or bad, but of choosing what is best or superior because it will better enable us to accomplish what God has designed us to be and do.

I come by tonight to remind you we are walking in excellency and we must act as such. My dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding, abounding, doing over and above, excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Insecurity”

Ephesians 1:4-6

Insecurity is defined as lack of confidence or assurance; self-doubt; instability; anxiety; danger.

God chose, adopted and accepted us. God loves us and there is nothing we have to do for His acceptance. These things destroy insecurities. He wants us ALL to be part of His family. We are so valuable in God’s eyes. Because God is for us, there is nothing in all of the universe that can stand against us. Even if others oppose us, we can be assured that God is standing with us, approving of us and loving us. Insecurity cannot stand in the face of these things. We are washed, sanctified, and justified and nothing can change these realities. Isaiah 54:17 says; “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” This scripture clearly states that as servants and children of God, it’s part of our inherited, blood-bought right through our relationship with Jesus Christ to be secure. We are joint heirs with Jesus and whatever He has, we get. But we have to take it by faith, which means we believe it before we see it. And since we believe what we say about ourselves more than what others say, we each need to speak what the bible says about us as children of God to overcome the negative, defeating opposition in the world that wants us to see ourselves compared to others, not who we are in Christ.

I come by this morning to let you know we must know who we are in Christ. We don’t have to live insecure lives because it’s God’s will for us to be very secure and not to live in fear. We were created to feel safe, secure, confident and bold; it’s part of our spiritual DNA as born-again believers in Christ. Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Worried And Upset About Many Things, Trust God”

Philippians 4:6-7

Worried is defined as concerned; anxious; bothered; fearful; distracted; upset.

Worry is always in motion, but it never gets you anywhere. So why do we struggle with it? Stop placing your trust in people or things. Place ALL your trust in God. He is the answer to every problem, every situation we may be facing. Don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Worry is the opposite of faith. It steals our peace, physically wears us out, and can even make us sick. When we worry, we torment ourselves. The only way to have victory in our lives is to play by God's rules, and He says we must quit worrying if we want to have peace. So, when things come our way that cause us to be concerned, we need God's help. But how do we get it? 1 Peter 5:6-7 says, Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. If Jesus invites us to cast all of our care and worry on Him, why do so many of us refuse to let go?

I come by this morning to let you know ALL you need is God. He is the Author and Finisher all things, the devil has no power, so stop giving it to him. May we all live as a beacon of love, breaking down walls and building bridges. And may we be filled with hope, resting in the certainty of God’s presence. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Effortlessly Change”

2 Peter 2:9

Effortlessly is defined as without trouble; smoothly; efficiently; just like that; comfortably; with ease; easily.

We as a believer must “do” in our lives as a follower of Christ, not merely what we must think or believe. And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. In this parable, Jesus compared the word of God to a seed. First, God’s Word has to be planted like a seed in our hearts. Just as a seed doesn’t release its life until it is planted into the ground, God’s word will not set us free until we get it in our hearts. Having the Bible on our tables, in our hands, or in our heads is not sufficient; we have to let God’s word penetrate our hearts. Second, the man who sowed the seed slept and rose day after day. It takes time for a seed to germinate. We can’t plant a seed one day and expect to see it growing the next day. Just because there’s nothing visible aboveground doesn’t mean the seed isn’t growing. If we dig it up every day to see if anything is happening, it will die. A farmer has to leave his or her seed in the ground and believe that it’s growing even though he or she can’t see it. Likewise, we have to have faith that the seed of God’s word will do what it was designed by God to do: produce its fruit in its time. Many people dig up the word by speaking directly against what it says. They’ll let natural circumstances override what God says. But when we meditate in God’s word, we are undergoing effortlessly change. We may not see ourselves growing, but we are, just like that planted seed is growing under the ground even though the farmer can’t see it.

I come by this morning to let you know that the Lord wants us to just put His word in our heart, and it will do the rest. You’ve never seen an apple tree travail to produce an apple. It takes time, but it comes effortlessly. But it can’t happen without planting the seed of God’s word in our heart. The only effort on our part is to put God’s word in our heart and protect and nurture it. Then God’s Word will produce the change. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Just Another Day The Lord Has Kept Us”

Joshua 14:10

Kept is defined as preserved; retained; observed; stored; saved; withheld; maintained.

We should be grateful to God. Paul was a prisoner for only one reason, and that was preaching the truth about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a Roman citizen, Paul had the right to appeal his case to Caesar, and in the Apostle was forced to take this legal step. Paul's appeal seemed necessary to escape the murderous intentions of the Christ-rejecting Jewish rulers in Jerusalem. But Paul's appeal to Caesar also seems to be God's way of getting Paul to Rome. And I say that because the Lord had already promised Paul he would get to witness for Christ in Rome. Paul had been arrested by the Romans in after the Jews stirred up a vicious riot against him. Then two nights later in the Lord stood by him and said, 'Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.

I come by this morning to let you know that God has kept us another day. Since God has given us another day we should be grateful to God, be servant-hearted, strongly trust in our Savior and give God all the glory. Be a blessing to others and bless them mostly by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Be bless and I love you!!! JE We

“Check Yourself”

2 Corinthians 13:5

Check is defined as to stop or arrest the motion of suddenly or forcibly; to restrain; hold in restraint or control.

We cannot remain static: we must either go forward or go back, and in order to go forward we must frequently consider our ways. The foundations of the temple had been built but then, through no fault of their own, the people had been prevented from going on with the work of building the Lord’’s house. But when the hindrance was removed they said, ““O well, there’s plenty of time yet. No hurry to do the Lord’’s work. The people were paying far more attention to their own houses than to God’’s house. We do this today. They are not putting into practice the truth of Matthew 6:31. Self, pleasure and their own homes are given priority over God and His house. Do we wonder that revival does not come? At such a time as this we must give thought to our ways. The people had worked hard and sown much, but they had reaped little. Why? Because God’’s chastening hand was upon them. All the time God’’s house was waiting to be built but they were not concerned. Is God chastening you because of your complacency? If we get slack spiritually God may touch us in our material circumstances.

I come by tonight to let you know it’s important to check yourself right now because tomorrow is not promised to no one. Sometimes we give careful thought, but we do not obey. How foolish we are, for God’’s commands are always for our good, and none of His commands are burdensome. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Never Lose Sight Of God’s Plans and Purposes For You”

Proverbs 3:21-23

Sight is defined as vision; view; appearance; perception; outlook.

It is very important we follow the perfect example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is necessary as we pursue God’s purpose and vision for our lives. It requires our discipline, focus, endurance and commitment. We must not compare ourselves to others as we pursue our race. Stay focus and keep focus on your race and not of someone else. God has laid before you a different race so it is important to keep focused and be disciplined enough not to compare your distances and race to another person. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I come by this morning to let you know Jesus is our perfect role model, our Lord and Savior that we need to look up to every day. Focus on Jesus and follow His plan. Do not get distracted. Stay focused and don’t lose sight of God’s plans and purposes for our life. The devil is relentless when it comes to destroying God’s work. Don’t let your guard down. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Extending Forgiveness”

Matthew 6:14-15

Extending is defined to stretch out; draw out to the full length; spreading; continuous.

God says to forgive, whether it's forgiveness for others or forgiveness for ourselves, forgiveness is important to start the healing process. Forgiveness is an act of obedience. God delights in your obedience, especially when you obey Him in challenging times. Obedience is a way of life for God's people. Your obedience to God is what makes your relationship with Him possible, it's the virtue that keeps you close to your heavenly father. Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times." The Bible says to "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Dealing with unkind people isn't easy, because sometimes they will take advantage of you, which usually results in you feeling vulnerable. We must respond with patience, keep praying, and wait on God to intervene when people are taking advantage of us.

I come by tonight to let you know we must extend forgiveness even when someone hurt us. Endure with love and continually forgive others. Other people may laugh and think we are being silly, but forgiveness is an act of patience. It's through patience, while we put up with unkind people that we find inner peace and ultimately, God's deliverance. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Cherish Your Relationships”

Philippians 2:4-13

Cherish is defined as to hold or treat as dear; feel love for; honor; appreciate; treasure; defend; encourage; support.

God cherishes what He creates. Developing and having good relationships, friendships is an important element in living a joy-full life. Paul had two good friends who sustained Him and strengthened his relationship with the Philippians. They were friends with each other because they were first friends with Jesus. Friendship with Jesus is a beautiful thing. Jesus has paid a tremendous price for our friendship. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Jesus said He no longer call us servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” Think of the difference between servants and friends. Servants carry out orders even though they are unaware of how they fit into a plan or into the whole scheme of things. They just execute the orders because they are under obligation and authority. They don’t even have to agree with it - they just have to do it. They, in fact, may not even know their master. But a friend is different. There’s much more intimacy. Friends are confidants of each other’s thoughts and plans. They are in harmony with each other and seek each other’s good.

I come by this morning to let you know Jesus is by far the best friend we could ever have or could ever want. So when He blesses you with different relationships always cherish them. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“It Was The Seed”

Galatians 6:7-10

Seed is defined as beginning; source; potential; trust; hope; nourishment.

A seed carries within itself new life. It has to be buried before it can bring forth that new life. A seed is a very small thing, compared to the plant and the harvest it produces. The parable of the mustard seed points this out. The mustard seed was the smallest seed, but it grew into a huge plant. Jesus teaches that although the Kingdom of God started small, with Jesus and the disciples, it would grow and spread across the world to unlimited numbers of followers. Joseph saves the people  of Egypt from a famine by advising them to plant plenty of seed in order to store grain for use in a future drought. Also, the growth of seed, watered by rain and nurtured by the sun, both of which God was believed to be providing, is seen as showing the goodness of God. The seed will grow well, the ground will produce its crops and the heavens will drop their dew. The seed is faithful and reliable in doing what God meant it to do, when it is sown. Growth begins with the sowing of seed. That is true in the vegetable kingdom of the earth. It is also true in the spiritual kingdom of Heaven. It's amazing how you can change your life simply by paying attention to the spiritual seed you sow daily.

I come by this morning to let you know it was the seed. Like a farmer who plants seed, we should expect to receive a harvest when we give into God’s kingdom. A seed must be planted to bring forth increase. The seed will multiply if it is allowed to grow. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Everyone’s Path Is Different and Unique”

1 Peter 2:9

Unique is defined as existing as the only one or as the sole example; single; solitary in type or characteristics; different; individual; uncommon; one of a kind.

God created us all with unique features,

personalities, and traits, we all are different. He created us all to do great things. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

I come by this morning to let you know to not be afraid of being different, unique but be afraid of being the same as someone else. Do not do what everyone else does do what God wants you to do. Be different so that people can see you clearly amongst the crowds. I love who God made me to be, a victorious woman of God, walking in the uniqueness He created me to be. Be you and love who God created you to be. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Lord Give Us Strength, We Can’t Do This On Our Own”

Isaiah 43:1-3

Strength is defined as moral power, firmness, or courage; stability; durability; intensity.

God opened our eyes to show us that it’s not by our power, but by His power that our situation can be changed. We could give our all and best, but it would mean nothing without God. When we learn to give our worries to God, His peace will guard our hearts and minds. No situation can cause us to be anxious when we bring our situations to God. In Judges 6, we see Gideon winning His battles because of God’s strength, and not his.

Gideon said to God, “How can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.” God assured Gideon’s victory by His presence. He promised Gideon that He would be with him. Just as God’s presence was the assurance that Gideon needed to win the battle, God is also the only assurance we need to fight our battles.

I come by this morning to let you know we must rely on God’s strength. Take our hands off our situation and give it to God. He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Stay In Position”

2 Chronicles 20:15-18

Position is defined as the proper, appropriate, or usual place; stand; importance; stature.

We must not run or hide away when the battle comes, but take up our position on the front line of the battle in prayer, right next to our brothers and sisters. Stand shoulder to shoulder with each other, lift our eyes to God, plant our feet firmly, and stand together in prayer facing the enemy. God will overcome our enemy; God will win the battle on our behalf. Do not move unless God tells us to. Remain in position! Because If we leave the fight, if we leave our position, we make the rest of the people vulnerable and we won’t see His victory; we will only taste defeat. Stay in position, keep praying and watch what God does. Through Christ Jesus all things are possible. We must remember our enemy was defeated and disarmed at the cross. Jesus won a total victory on our behalf. Stand and live in that reality today and know we have the victory over the enemy.

I come by this beautiful blessed morning to encourage ALL my Brothers and Sisters to stay in position no matter what. Do not be moved by the distractions of the world and it’s wicked ways. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understandings. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. We are more than conquerors in Jesus mighty and powerful name. Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“If The Fruit Is Bad The Tree Is Bad”

Matthew 7:16-20

Bad is defined as not good in any manner or degree; having a wicked or evil character; dangerous; unhealthy; hurtful.

Jesus warns that not everyone who calls Him Lord and claims to have worked in His name will enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus instructed His disciples about the importance of bearing good fruit. He also talked about the need for them to recognize the type of people they were dealing with by evaluating the type of fruit those people bear. He simplified the concept by explaining: “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” lIn an orchard, there might be some trees that are not fully good or fully bad, but in Jesus’ analogy, there are only two kinds of spiritual trees. He is not saying that the bad spiritual tree might not appear in its leaves or buds to be good, but that the end result is always bad. Jesus explained that not bearing any fruit is not an option: “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire” Before Jesus crucifixion, He talked to the disciples about the way for them to continue bearing good fruit. In John 15:1-5 it says; “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

I come by this evening to let you know the Holy Spirit, working in our minds, produces the fruit of righteousness. The word encourages us to examine ourselves and to beware of self-deception. We must be sure we are producing good fruit. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Irreplaceable”

Jeremiah 1:4-5

Irreplaceable is defined as incapable of being replaced; unique; unthinkable; unobtainable.

We are priceless to God. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:10; “"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." It was God who created man, and it was God who breathed unto him a living soul. It is what separates man from the animal kingdom for both live and breathe the same air, and when they die they go back to the dust from where they came. However, the soul of man goes back to God who gave it. As Job said, “The Lord gives and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord.” God has both the power to kill the body and the soul, and cast both into hell. Knowing that all sin and come short of the glory of God, He gave unto man his only begotten son.

I come by this morning to let you know God’s gifts are irreplaceable. God has given unto man all that he needs to be saved. He gave us a soul to be saved. He gave us his son to remove our sins. He gave us his gospel to obey and eternal life as our reward. If we reject this gospel, He also gave us eternal damnation to be punished. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Letting Go Of Unfruitful Relationship”

1 Corinthians 15:33-34

Unfruitful is defined as not providing satisfaction; unprofitable; fruitless; barren; nonproductive.

When God wants to bless us He sends people into our life and when the devil wants to destroy us he also does the same. God uses relationships in our lives in important ways. But some relationships are not healthy for us. Toxic, unfruitful relationships can happen between friends, family members, co-workers and romantic relationships. Unfruitful relationships contaminates our self-esteem, our happiness and the way we see ourselves and the world, make us feel drained, depleted and confused. Our lives are like trees and people are the branches. Learning to handle toxic people is learning that, some branches, relationships need to be cut off. If we value fruitfulness as much as Jesus does, then all of us will need to be more intentional about cutting some less than fruitful encounters and relationships out of our lives from time to time.

I come by this morning to let you know we must be the tree that produces an abundant harvest. We won’t harvest great apples in the late summer and early fall if we’re not pruning in the winter. We must  harvest fruitful relationships. Father God reveal every unhealthy relationship in our life and every relationship that drains us in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Amen!!! God wants us to be free to focus where He’s leading. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Uproot”

Jeremiah 31:28

Uproot is defined as to remove violently or tear away from a native place or environment; to destroy; to displace; wipe out; demolish; pull down.

Being uprooted can be uncomfortable, unwanted, unwelcoming and unexpected but necessary to put us in a place where God wants and needs us to be.  Uprooting can also be because you’re a distraction. Every plant that my Father in heaven has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Jesus gives us a parable of the kingdom of God that is like a farmer who planted good seeds and at night when he was sleeping the enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat then slipped away. And Jesus gave the explanation by saying the enemy came and did that. It’s important to understand that in our lives as well the enemy will come and try to plant bad seeds when we are sleeping. Sleeping can be defined as a moment of unawareness or a moment of weakness and spiritual sleepiness. And a lot of us have things things that God didn’t plant in us but was planted by the enemy through witchcraft by dreams in the middle of the night or when we were going through a dark time that came to fight what God had deposited in us. Anything in us that isn’t from God should and will be removed from within us, from our homes and from our churches. The enemy has one goal and one goal only and that is to steal, to kill, and destroy.

I come by this morning to let you know do not be dismayed when God comes and uproot people or things from your life, it’s for your good. Father God we thank You for coming and uprooting and removing the things the enemy had planted in the name of Jesus. The hold and contact the enemy had has been broken and sent to the very pits of hell to die and be no more in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. And it is so!!! Amen!!! Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Unmerited Grace”

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Unmerited is defined as undeserving; unearned; unjust; unworthy; ineligible; unfit; unsuitable.

Grace focuses on who God is and what He is doing and takes the focus off of ourselves. We have access by faith into unmerited grace in which we stand. So to gain access to and increase in God’s unmerited grace, the key that we need to have is faith, faith to believe that we are indeed highly favored by God. Because God has placed us in Christ the Beloved, we are highly favored. Start looking at yourself in the mirror every morning and boldly declare, “Because I am in Christ, I am highly favored! So I expect good things to come my way.” Grace according to the dictionary, is the unmerited favor of God toward mankind. It is a free gift of the almighty God. Remembering that old familiar song, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see.”

I come by this morning to let you know God is the giver and we are the receivers. In worship, God showers us with the gift of His grace and gives faith which trusts in His grace. In Ephesians 2:8-9 it says; “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Unwilling Heart”

2 Peter 3:8-10

Unwilling is defined as not willing; reluctant; loath; averse; opposed; offering resistance; stubborn; afraid; resistant.

People makes excuses to not surrender or repent towards God. We must realize we’re nothing without God. He is the reason we all exist. God’s unmerited grace is nothing we earned but freely given to us by Him daily. In Phillipians 2:13 it says; “For it is God who works in us both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Willingness comes first before action/ability. People who are unwilling to repent of their sins will go to eternal damnation. God is giving Moses a second chance. God is demonstrating His power in a burning bush. Moses has just yielded, “Here am I,” and he is on his face. Like a first grader, Moses thinks he knows it all. Because of Moses unwilling heart he made excuses of why he couldn’t do what God asked him to do. His first excuse was, Unfit, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh?” Moses wasn’t afraid of Pharaoh because a price was on his head and he wasn’t truly humble. His excuses were probably motivated by unbelief.  His second excuse was untaught. Moses asked God, “When I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘the God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘what is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” God answered, “Tell them who I am. “Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, I am has sent me to you.”

I come by this morning to let you know we all need a heart that is willing to trust God. Our lives are sometimes made up of unpleasant things, but necessary responsibilities. God wants your heart, not your service, and not your resources. He does not need those things, but He accepts them as the fruit of a willing heart. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Why Live In A Broken World Of Darkness, When God Has Given Us A Lighthouse”

1 Peter 4:12-19

Lighthouse is defined as lamp; sign; beacon; watchtower; light; guidepost; warning signal; alarm; alert;

When we don’t know something, we’re in the dark about it. We must remember Jesus is our light in our darkness. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In ALL our ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct our path. Stop walking blindly in this world. In John 8:12 it says; “When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’ Apart from Jesus, we live in darkness. We have limited capacity to understand who we are or what we see in the world. God has given us a lighthouse, Jesus who will lead and guide us through this world of darkness. We just have to walk-in in His will and stop being self-righteous and full of pride. A lot of things we go through are self-inflicted because we fail to seek the Lord first. And inpatient causes us to do things out of flesh. Wait on the Lord and follow His instructions. Each day, the sun rises to warm, illuminate, and provide growth on earth. The moon and stars light the night, serving as navigators long before smartphones. We reach for the light-switch when we enter a dark room, and we depend on our accumulation of knowledge to shed light on our lives. Light permeates into every crack and crevice of our lives and beings, whether visible, tangible in regard to warmth, or metaphorically enlightening. Light is required for any vegetation to grow, and the light clarifies the human spirit. A boat needs navigational lights to avoid running into the shore, aground or into other vessels at night. Light prevents aimless drifting. Captains follow blinking channel markers and lighthouses at night. Just as ships follow lights to ensure safe passage, so we rely on the Light.

I come by this morning to let you know Jesus’s death broke through the darkness, lighting the way for us. God’s Word, through the enlightening of the Holy Spirit, helps us understand and remember when we need His wisdom to steer us. Jesus is our lighthouse in this broken world of darkness. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

Stop Looking, God Has Already Sorted It Out”

Matthew 6:33

Sorted is defined as arrange; separated; sifted chose; picked; categorized.

God has His own sense of timing: With the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. He has perfect timing: never early, never late. God is never in a hurry, but he is always on time. When your prayers don’t seem to be answered, you may be tempted to stop trusting the Lord and start trying do things on your own. We must know God has already sorted it out, we just have to trust Him in the process. Peter warns us that people will mock us and say, ‘So what’s happened to the promise of His Coming?’ He says there is a very good reason for the delay. The reason that the Lord has not come already is to give people more time to repent. God is not being slow in keeping his promise. Rather, the delay comes from his patience: ‘He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the end because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change. Repentance is all about a change of direction in our lives. It is turning away from all the sin in our lives and turning to Jesus. By giving us time to repent God is lovingly holding the door open for our salvation. Pride comes before a fall. Everything we have comes from God. We are dependent upon him for our next breath. He is in control of the past, present and future.

Thanksgiving prompts humility. The mistake Nebuchadnezzar made, and that all of us possibly make from time to time, is to think that what he had achieved was all his own doing. The lesson that God had to teach Nebuchadnezzar, and sometimes has to teach us, is that everything you have is a gift from God.

I come by this morning to let you know to stop looking, God has already sorted it out. Lord, open our eyes so we might see what is already there. Open our hearts so we might believe what is already there. Strengthen our faith so we might trust that You are surrounding what is surrounding us. In Jesus name, Amen. And it is so!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“The Chains Are Broken In The Name Of Jesus“

Hebrews 4:12

Broken is defined as ruptured; torn; fractured; damaged; defected; hurt; severed.

The chains of depression are broken. The chains of brokenness are broken! The chains of stress are broken! The chains of bondage are broken! The chains of unforgiveness are broken! And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness. And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.

I come by this evening to let you know you are free in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. No more chains holding you down. You are free to be who God called you to be. A mighty and powerful child of God. Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“The Rock Of Salvation”

2 Samuel 22:2-3

Rock is defined as foundation; support; strength; protection; anchor.

God is strong, steadfast, and consistent, not easily moved or shaken and a refuge for those in need. God is the “Rock.” The Israelites understood that God was not just one source of strength and protection. He was their only strength, their only hope, and their only refuge. In Daniel’s visions, he even saw the most powerful prophesied nations of the world (Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome) crushed by a “rock cut out of a mountain.” This rock was, of course, referring to “the Rock,” which is God, who will establish His eternal kingdom over the ruins of all others. After receiving the ability to bear children, Hannah sang, “My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.” David also praised God for being his stronghold, deliverance, protection, and promoter. “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” When we rely on our own strength or place our hope in other sources, as the Israelites often did we discover how flimsy all other hope and strongholds really are. This is why God spoke through the prophet Isaiah, saying, “Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”

I come by this morning to let you know when we trust in God, we find strength, courage, and hope in His strength and the shelter of His love. God is the Rock of salvation. In Psalms 27:1 it says; “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” The Lord is our rock, our fortress and our deliverer. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Jesus Is The Mender Of Broken Hearts”

Psalms 34:18

Mender is defined as a healer; troubleshooter; curer; fixer.

Our physical heart muscle, fed by arteries, pumps and regulates the blood flow that carries oxygen and nutrients throughout our bodies. If we exercise that muscle through cardiovascular workouts and feed it healthy nutrients, it grows stronger. But if it languish and it is fed toxins, the muscle grows weak and the arteries get clogged. The same is true of our spiritual hearts. The heart is the seat of our passions; it drives and compels us to be who we are and act as we do. It is the essence of our character. When we are wounded, we leak toxic waste and that waste poisons us and the people around us. Hurt people hurt people. Broken people break people. Wounded people wound people and damaged people damage people. God  can replace our clogged hearts with His heart of flesh, because healthy hearts create healthy and fruitful lives. The Lord God said in Ezekiel 36:25-27; “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”

I come by this morning to let you know what we don’t reveal it can not be healed. Allow the Lord to heal your heart, your faith, strength, and courage. Give yourself to the Lord so He can mend your broken heart. Be bless and I love you!!! JE

“Authentically Anointed, Always Be Yourself”

1 Samuel 16:7

Authentically is defined as not false or copied; genuine; real; faithful; loyal.

God’s anointing will not flow through us when we are being fake. Simon never tried to be anyone but himself and God blessed him for it. He was changed from Simon, the unstable man to Peter,  the rock by simply being himself. The anointing is when God ministers to people in the earth through a person.  He can minister to people directly (because He is God), but when He chooses to minister to humans through another human it is called “the anointing”. God anoints people with His supernatural power and giftings, so they can become conduits of His power in the earth. But the anointing only flows through the authentic. There will be no anointing where there is no authenticity. Peter never tried to be anyone but Peter. He was far from perfect, he made a myriad of mistakes, but since he was simply being Peter, the Lord was able to use him supernaturally. God will do the same through us when we stop trying to be someone else. God is not looking for perfection, but He is looking for authenticity. We must be ourselves and we will experience the power of God flowing through us.

I come by this morning to let you know we must be genuine in ALL things we do for the Lord. Father God examine us and remove everything that is not You, immediately in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Father God we also know that You will not flow through us when we are trying to be someone You did not call us to be. You don’t like it when You look at us and see us attempting to be someone else. Our anointing only flows through authenticity. We declare that we will always be who You called us to be. We will not live our life attempting to be anyone but the person You called us to be.  Father God as we are ourself, our true self, our God-ordained self, You are able to flow through us to change the world. Father God we declare this by faith.  In Jesus’ name. And it is so!!! Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE
