“Our Praises Are Shifting The Atmosphere”

Romans 12:2

Shifting is defined as switch; move; transfer; change; reposition; transformation. 

Our attitudes can either add or take away from the atmosphere. Choose to be positive, because every opportunity is a gift. If we start the day overwhelmed by everything that needs to get done, then we’re missing some of the good things along the way. Enjoy the moment in whatever situation or circumstance you’re in. Praise God as the atmosphere shift. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were unfastened. When the jailer woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried with a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here.” 

I come by this morning to let you know we all must choose to shift the atmosphere with our praise. Praise God in and out season. Rather than viewing  life as a constant to do list, think of it as an opportunity to love and serve others well. This will shift the atmosphere and we will find others inspired to do the same.
