“Letting Go Of Unfruitful Relationship”

1 Corinthians 15:33-34

Unfruitful is defined as not providing satisfaction; unprofitable; fruitless; barren; nonproductive.

When God wants to bless us He sends people into our life and when the devil wants to destroy us he also does the same. God uses relationships in our lives in important ways. But some relationships are not healthy for us. Toxic, unfruitful relationships can happen between friends, family members, co-workers and romantic relationships. Unfruitful relationships contaminates our self-esteem, our happiness and the way we see ourselves and the world, make us feel drained, depleted and confused. Our lives are like trees and people are the branches. Learning to handle toxic people is learning that, some branches, relationships need to be cut off. If we value fruitfulness as much as Jesus does, then all of us will need to be more intentional about cutting some less than fruitful encounters and relationships out of our lives from time to time.

I come by this morning to let you know we must be the tree that produces an abundant harvest. We won’t harvest great apples in the late summer and early fall if we’re not pruning in the winter. We must  harvest fruitful relationships. Father God reveal every unhealthy relationship in our life and every relationship that drains us in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Amen!!! God wants us to be free to focus where He’s leading. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
