1 Corinthians 15:5
Commitment is defined as promise; guarantee; need; responsibility; obligation; assurance; promise.
Serving God requires complete obedience, commitment and faith in His words. Serving God is hard work, because it involves labour, it involves unmoveable faith, it involves steadfastness, it involves prayer, it involves fasting, it involves bible study, it also require that you are totally committed to God. We must do the work of Him who sends us while it is day, because the night comes when no man can work and that work also include overcoming temptations. We need to serve God with all of our heart, because God does not look at the outer man, He looks at the hearts. We cannot be tossed this way and that in our walk with the Lord. You need to remain flatfooted in the things of God. God is not slack concerning His promises as most men count slackness. Once He made us a promise we can bet our last dollar on Him fulfilling it and we wont regret it. We must keep our end of the bargain, by diligently obeying the command, and serving God with our whole heart.
I come by this late evening to encourage you to stay committed to the Lord and trust Him with all your heart in the good and bad. He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
Amen good morning

ReplyDeleteIt is very had to follow Christ, in my flesh, for in it dwells no good thing without the Lord, so my covenant commitment must be visited daily, as I remind myself of Philippians 4:13, that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
ReplyDeleteGod NEVER FAILS!
