Luke 21:36
Stay is defined as to to spend some time in a place, in a situation, with a person or group; to stop or halt; to hold back, detain, or restrain, as from going further.
It's not easy to keep pushing on when obstacles threaten and impending defeat looms large on the horizon. Yet this is standard fare for all who chose to do and dare for the kingdom of God. That pagans have made unstinting efforts to glorify their false gods, is reason enough why Christians should do much more to glorify the One True God. Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. But if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.
I come by this evening to let you know no matter how weak, incapable, or unqualified you feel, fear not. Unreservedly give to God your life, your heart, your mind, your all. He will take care of the rest, for He has promised: “Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit, saith The Lord of Hosts.” Be bless and I love you!!! JE
