“Let God Work In And Through You”

Matthew 5:14-16

Work is defined as cultivate; form; make; process; mold; shape; process.

Our most important job is to give God time, opportunity and full access to do His work in and through us. Shut the world out and invite Jesus in today to do some landscaping in our hearts, minds and soul with His amazing grace. Stop blaming people for your shortcomings and do a self-examination. Woe God it’s me standing in the need of prayer. Stop looking at what happened to you in your past and allow God to be your present. You can’t go forward looking back at what it was. Start living in the now and let God do a work in and through you. We are a part of God's “new creation” and God continues to work in us to make us what He wants us to be. His purpose is to make us more like Christ. Christ is equipping us for our walk and our work here on earth. To do this, He uses three special tools: (1) the word of God. (2) prayer and (3)suffering. As we read God’s Word, understand it, meditate on it, and feed on it, the Word goes to work in our lives to cleanse us and nourish us. As we pray, God’s Spirit works in us to release power. And as we suffer, the Spirit of God ministers to us. Suffering drives us back to the word and prayer, and the cycle is repeated. After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He said, “Loose him, and let him go.” In other words, “This man is now alive. Get him out of the graveclothes!”

I come by this morning to let you know God is doing a great work in you. For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
