“You Are A Masterpiece Don’t Let The Devil Tell You Different”

1 Peter 2:9-10

Masterpiece is defined as a person's greatest piece of work; treasure; prize; gem; model; jewel.

God created each one of us as a unique “masterpiece.” We are made in His image, so how could we be anything but magnificent? God does not take any shortcuts or get lazy in his creation.  We are made with outstanding workmanship!   When you look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see? Or maybe I should ask, what do you see? Do you see yourself as a “masterpiece”? For it is by grace we have been saved, through faith and this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. God doesn't make damaged goods or even mediocre products. Whatever God makes is a masterpiece. We are a masterpiece because of what God has done in our life by his grace. We have been newly and wonderfully created through Christ, so that we might live in relationship with God and for His glory. We are a masterpiece, not because of our effort, but because of Your grace. How we thank You for what You have begun to do in us through Christ. May we see ourselves in light of this truth. May we live each day embodying this truth. May we be our masterpiece today, Lord, in all we do, think, say, and feel. Amen!!! 

I come by this morning to let you know God sees us. Living our lives in Jesus’ love and forgiveness makes us worthy. The sinful nature we see does not have the final word. God looks at us and sees none of the mess, only a forgiven child of God. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
