“God Created Us To Be Unique”

Psalms 139:13-18

Unique is defined as existing as the only one or as the sole example; different; exclusive; individual; one of kind; extraordinary.

God made us special and unique. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, “Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you.”  God created different kinds of colors, tastes, sounds, foods, scenery, animals, ideas and types of leisures. One area that is especially intriguing, is the variety of people He has created. In fact, everyone is different. There are no two of us alike. We are each special. We are unique. God has made each of us special and unique. He’s created us in amazing ways and made it possible for us to contribute to what He’s doing in this world. Every person who comes to Christ brings something that no one else is able to offer. Rather than making us arrogant, this knowledge should cause us to remain humble as we celebrate our special place and affirm God’s sovereign plan for us. God has every hair on our head numbered. As a God of limitless power, He is intimately aware of each and every attribute of ours. Paul reminds us in First Corinthians, "For you are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which belongs to God."

I come by this morning to let you know everyone of us is unique, a one-of-a-kind, special, limited edition. This uniqueness doesn’t happen by accident. It’s also part of God’s grand design and plan. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
