2 Peter 3:8-10
Fulfill is defined as to carry out, or bring to realization, as a prophecy or promise; to perform or do, as duty; obey or follow, as commands; bring to completion; accomplish.
If it were not for Jesus’s promises, we don’t know how we would have made it through this year. Jesus has been great to His people and there is nothing we will lack ever again if we stay in the will of the Lord. Amen!!! Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” Mary didn’t experience that picture perfect setting when she was carrying Jesus. She rode on a donkey to go pay their taxes while she was pregnant with Jesus. When she went into labor, no one would offer her a room until an inn-keeper took pity on her and offered for her to stay in his stable, the filthiest place you could think of to have a baby. Yet Scripture says she found favor with God. The angel went to her and said, ‘Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” This gives us so much encouragement because as Christ followers, we are ALL highly favored, and the Lord is with us ALL. It doesn’t matter what our circumstance is, Jesus is with us in it.
I come by this morning to let you know, Jesus is a Promise Keeper and we have the victory in ALL things. All of us have found favor with God, we don’t need to be afraid despite what our circumstances look like, Jesus will keep and fulfill His promises to us. When we believe Jesus’ promises are true, we can maintain our hope during difficult times. Our faith, our hope will prevail in Jesus mighty and powerful name. Amen!!! Be bless and I love you!!! JE
