“You Are Stronger Than You Think”

1 John 2:14-17

Stronger is defined as powerful; healthy; determined; firm: capable; vigorous; secure; solid. 

We don’t need to be perfect to repel and defeat any situation or circumstance in the name of the Jesus Christ.  In Philippians 3:5-6 tells us Paul was, “circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. In other words, Paul was more educated and experienced than almost anybody of his day. He was as perfect as a religious man could be, keeping the law to the utmost. Yet he describes all this self-importance as trash, compared to knowing Christ by faith. His personal assets were viewed as liabilities so that he could fully embrace the righteousness of Christ. Lord Jesus, You are our strength and our defense. We humble ourselves before You and we declare in our weakness, You are strong. There is no other like You. Thank You for clothing us in Your power and righteousness. We are enough because of You. Amen!!! 

I come by this evening to let you know that the  more we remain in the word of God, the more prepared we are to face a difficult day, a new battle or a new trial. God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
