“We Must Know Our Value, Never Stay In A Place Where They Don’t See Your Value”

Matthew 6:25-28

Value is defined as relative worth, merit, or importance; advantage; quality; significance; purpose.

We are valuable. When our value does not come from Christ, then we will care far too much about how people see us. We will be afraid to be vulnerable. Our image of ourselves will become clouded. Our value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see our worth. Our value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s thoughts about us, including our own. Until we know our worth we will continue to seek other people’s approval just to feel good about ourselves. We can lose sight of who we are in Christ when we think negative thoughts about ourselves. Remind yourself of what Christ has done for you and who you are in Christ. We are valuable because of who we are. We are made in God’s image, according to His likeness. A long time ago, even before God created us and before He created this universe, we were the focus of His love. “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” We are valuable because of what we cost. As one loved by God, we have also been chosen by God for “adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself.” This adoption came at a high price, the death of His Son. We are valuable because of what we can become. As a person who is loved by God and adopted into His family, we can be sure that God has a plan for our life: In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

I come by this morning to let you know to never  settle. Know your worth. Never stay in a place where they don’t see your value. God made you great and don’t you accept anything less. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
