“We Need A Word From You Lord”

Matthew 4:4

Word is defined as an expression or utterance; conversation; talk; discussion. 

God has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 tells us, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to pcast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.” When we need a word from God we need to do the following things; (1)Ask – Simply ask God to speak to you through His word. (2)Have Faith – Once you ask, believe that He is going to give you a message of encouragement that you need for that day. (3)Be Quiet – Conversations cannot be one-sided. You will never learn anything by always talking. Be still and quiet for a bit after you have asked God to speak to you. (4) Use the scriptures- The bible, His word. Be sensitive and allow God to direct you to where you need to read. He’ll show you. (5) Write it down - Once you’re given a word from God either through prayer, reading the bible, dream or through prophecy write it down and keep it in a safe place.
