“Check Your Connection, Jesus Is Trying To Get Your Attention”

John 15:5

Connection is defined as something that connects or link; relationship; affiliation; association; union; attachment.

There are so many things that demands our attention: our jobs, our kids, our spouses, our hobbies and our friends. And we have to be careful not to let them become more important or more of a priority than our relationship with God. Anything can become a god to us, anything we worship or put an excessive amount of time into. Even our feelings can become a god if we allow them to control us. We need to ask ourselves, Are we bowing down to God and His Word or to our feelings? We must check our connections and make it our goal to have a deep, intimate relationship with God. Let Him into every area of our life. If we constantly look to other people for answers and validation, we have to pray about this and ask the Lord to help us stop doing that and instead look to Him. As we live to please God, He promises to bless our lives and make us prosper.

I come by this beautiful and blessed morning to let you know Jesus is trying to get your attention, check your connection.  Do not be distracted by ways and people of this world. God has greater for you. Trust Him in all things. He is a man that will not lie and His word will not return to Him void. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
