Psalms 145: 18-19
Alone is defined as separate, apart, or isolated from others; abandoned; forsaken.
We are never alone. God is always with us and He will never leave us. Jesus knows how it feels to be alone. Jesus came to earth and lived like we lived. He went through many of the same experiences & feelings we’ve had. He was publicly rejected and abandoned by his friends. At one point, Jesus asked His friends to pray for Him in a time of distress, and do you know what they did? They fell asleep. Imagine how alone He felt in that moment. Jesus has been alone. He knows what you are going through and He is with you in every moment, ready to comfort you. You can be in a crowd and still feel alone if you don’t feel connected to someone. It doesn’t matter if you are married or single, you can still feel alone. It doesn’t matter if you have children or not. Loneliness can happen to anyone. David tells us about his loneliness in the book of Psalms. David cried out to God “Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.” Even Jesus experienced
loneliness. Isaiah 53:3 tells us the prophecy about Jesus and His loneliness. “He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.” On the cross Jesus cried out “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
I come by this morning to let you know no matter what, you’re not alone. Jesus is here to protect, provide and proclaim victory in and through you. No matter who walks away from us, God is still with us. We are not alone. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
