“We Must Look Past Our Limitations And Believe God For Something Bigger”

James 1:6-7

Limitations is defined as limiting a condition; restrictive weakness; lack of capacity; inability or handicap; restraint; disadvantage. 

God is everything. He is only limited, because we limit Him in our thinking. Jesus said, “All things are possible to him who believes.” What’s holding God back from moving in our life? Do we also have “faith” in our own human limitations? Faith is what we believe in, negative or positive. True faith, is faith in the unlimited promises of God. If we believe God’s word, but also believe we are limited in what we can have from God, then one “faith” is crossing out the other, and God can’t move in our life. We must believe for something bigger and trust in it with all our heart. Jesus often asked people if they believed He could do what they were asking Him to do. When He said, “According to your faith be it unto you,” He was showing us that although He is not limited in what He can give or do, our lack of faith limits what we can receive. Anything is possible with God, He is unlimited. The devil has no power, the only thing that gives him any power is our unbelief. It’s not God, or even the devil, who is limiting us; we limit ourselves.

I come by this morning to let you know we should stop limited God and allow Him to be big in all areas of our life. There is nothing impossible with God. Take off the limitations and believe for something bigger. We serve an omnipotent God. Be bless and I love you!!! JE
